Note: After falling in love with this game, I volunteered to join the team and was fortunate enough to be accepted. I don't believe this has unnaturally affected my recommendation, but it's a potential source of bias you should be aware of, and the reason I held off so long on reviewing this game in the first place. I found this game three years ago through the Altos and Herdone game The Headmaster. I was immediately surprised by the writing and worldbuilding, as well as the sheer power fantasy it offered (especially as someone who is incredibly into power and control dynamics). I was also surprised by the fact that you straight-up play as a dragon, and a potentially-villainous one at that, since non-human or evil protagonists are incredibly rare in these kinds of games. At the time, by sheer coincidence, I was working on a text-based game for one of my classes, in which the player character was a dragon, and starting to burn out a little, and this game legitimately motivated me to finish that project and get the assignment turned in. I hung around in the community Discord server for a bit, thoroughly enjoying my time there, then eventually moved on to other stuff.

A year later, I rediscovered the game. This was before Act V had released, and I had probably 60ish hours from playing on Android. I saw it was on Steam and bought it, reasoning that I'd already had way more than $15 worth of enjoyment, and I knew I wanted to support the project. I hung out in the community for a couple months, growing to love the game even more, and over the summer I noticed that there was a way to apply as a writer. I figured that, given it was a project I genuinely thought was great, with pretty incredible writing in it, it was worth at least giving it a shot on the off chance I was accepted. A little while later and I joined the team.

Before I joined, I already believed that this game was an incredible work of skill and passion from those involved, and I already found it setting a new standard for other h-games I played. I also already found it sexy as hell to play. Even so, working on this game has only increased my love of this project. The people behind this game are incredibly committed to making it the best it can be, and possess insane talent. All the support the game gets is poured right back into making it even better, and most of all the people who organize this project go out of their way to make sure everyone who contributes feels appreciated. Just as this game sets its own standard for erotic titles, the team behind it sets a high bar for how game development should be done.

I've been contributing for almost two years, the majority of which was on a volunteer basis while I finish university, which wouldn't have happened if I didn't truly believe in this project. As of writing this review, in two days I graduate, and as someone planning to enter game development it is a precious opportunity to have already found a work environment I genuinely love, where I feel legitimately valued and appreciated.

I haven't even mentioned the incredible voice acting, the absurdly generous demo (which covers the first four Acts, meaning it contains essentially all of my >100 hours combined playtime), or the monthly update schedule which constantly offers new content to explore. The cast of characters is wonderfully diverse, as is the team behind them. The replayability, the player agency, the kinks that are usually so difficult to find in h-games, and so many other fantastic qualities leave me thoroughly convinced that this game is something special. It's incredibly rare to find a title where nearly every aspect is of such high quality. Read the other reviews, and if you still aren't sure, play the demo for as long as you like before you buy. I truly believe this game is something worth experiencing.
