This game is gold

I have to admit, I was quite hesitant to return to the Total War franchise recently. After the experience with Rome 2 and the brief excitement with Attila, it just didn't feel the same anymore after those games.

However, this game is a gem, and I'm genuinely interested in getting back into modding and investing my time in it. Great job, CA on this one, needs a little bit more polishing but this is 100 the right direction to take.

great game, reminds me of Witcher 3. Graphics are pretty good, although performance is definitely lacking optimization to say the least.

Some issues are still present in the game - lack of language voices (French for example) and few things you will notice throughout the game.

My biggest disappointment or drawback is the lack of Co-op. This game would have been fantastic if it was multiplayer or at least coop. I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a polish game on release. I’d buy this after they improve, optimize and perhaps introduce Coop

Here is the thing, the game itself isn't bad but rather enjoyable to say the least. However, if you are new to total war and wish to jump into one of the recent series, Attila isn't ideal. Worth getting? Yeah, if you are into the late roman era.

Overall, if you are a fan of all the total war series and wish to see what CA has packed into their lastest game, this could be for you but do not expect it to be anything new compared to Rome II. This may be the last "historical" total war series for a while, so i would strongly recommend to buy it when game goes on special sell.


What's killing it currently is the lack of mod production and fanbase, as well with the endless tedious Faction culture pack release of the game, which overall do pack a lot more than just factions so the prices are worth it, for some.


I'd give it a 7/10 overall.

It's OK. Not a big fan of CA whole Faction culture DLC milking, but for the sake of their survival as a company and competition lurking in our modern gaming industry, it's safe to say for it's Price, it does pack more content that you wouldn't expect and would meet the satisfaction. Of course, this is optional, you dont NEED to buy it if you aren't going to PLAY those factions, period.

I wish they did similar content richness like this on the precent Rome II factions they have released.

If you are waiting for the upcoming Star Citizen game, this will be worth the time while the wait :)

For a Alpha stage, the game REALLY gets under your skin when you start to move away from your starting area.

I bought the game hoping it wouldn't be that buggy, but it was alright. the game is still playable and since it is alpha i give it 7/10 the only thing that gets annyoing is having a lot of patience when you die, since you will have to START ALL over :p

amazing game, despite the hatred from certain Total War fans the game still delivers a unique depth of entertainment for those who are new into the series
