It's pretty cool

Updated my review, Feb 2025:
Alright, a lot of my complaints have been addressed. There are still some issues with how the build mode works, it's a little bit counter intuitive. But the game is definetly going strong and improving. Now needs more content in the form of options and personality: furniture, objects, more walls and floors, but also, diagonal walls when?

It's surprising how much it's improving. We still need more modders.

Great game, however, so far, feels a little bit empty. Surely modders will make a difference, but so far, sometimes, there is not much to do. Furniture is lacking (there are no bathtubs, only showers, why?! I'm not asking for a bidet, but you need to have a bathtub), customization options are still not great and quite deficient, building options are somewhat limited. Even if you build a great house, there is nothing to put inside. Decoration is really starving and all houses end up looking the same.
There is also this massive issue where visitors, people who you *do not know at all* come to your house and ring your bell, even at 3 am. Why? If a guy that I don't know comes to my house at 3 am looking to come in, I would probably grab a gun or call the police. Which leads me to the next point:
Tiny Life so far has no culture. This is not to say that the game is uncultured, but more like there is not even an illusion of a society. There are no social rules, neither etiquette, nor punishments for being incredibly rude to strangers. Even stores are kind of dead most of the time and (if you can get somebody to cook you a meal which so far I've been unable to) baristas or chefs will usually leave their position to talk to clients that are having a meal at the table. There is this constant feeling like the tinies have no conception of boundaries, responsabilities or consent. They just do whatever and then you deal with the consequences.
They act like that incredibly annoying person that always says stuff like "my biggest fault is that I am too honest". Just insufferable people.
Also, building roofs drives me mad. Sims 1 had an auto-build function that worked quite well.

So, why the hell am I saying this is a great game? Because it is. It just needs more work. And so far, from what I've seen, the dev is going the right way. And also, modders, please hop in quick. We need you.

It's just awesome

Quite unremarkable. Not particularly good at anything but not actually bad. I played it and don't seem to remember too much of it.

I guess that what I could say is that Endzone is a game.
