This game is great. It is a strategy game at it's core, all about team compositions, item distribution, and positioning.

Runs can eventually start to get repetitive, but mixing things up and trying to get wacky team compositions to work is a great time.

Not too difficult, but not too easy with a difficulty scaling mechanism just like Slay the Spire's.

Definitely worth the price!

This game may look wacky and obtuse at first glance (and it is), but if you buckle up and stick with it you will get an incredibly engaging strategy RPG with great exploration elements.

If you are a fan of Fire Emblem or other strategy games you will most likely enjoy the tactical gameplay here greatly.

PROS
- Unit variety is great and branches out quite a bit (is also tied to exploration in a cool way)
- There seems to be a good amount of viable party compositions
- Terrain manipulation is DOPE and an effective strategy (although not necessary for victory)
- The writing and world building is intriguing, there isn't a TON here, but what there is is well done
- Challenging battles, but nothing too punishing

CONS
- Slightly rough start
- Travel can sometimes feel tedious (makes getting to the correct destination feel sweet though)
- Interaction between party members is minimal

Yo this game slaps. $2.99 is a steal, easy to get hours of engaging fun out of this bad boy
