I recently got my first VR headset and stumbled across this game. Let me tell you, if guns are your thing then this is a must-buy. Everything from the controls to the ballistics and gun handling are superb. Only a few weeks into VR gaming and this is by far my favorite.

If you:

* Enjoyed smashing up your toy cars as a kid

* Played the old NASCAR games by driving the wrong way around the track and crashing head-on with the AI

* Loved the Flatout series

* Want a rock crawling, racing, demolition derby, drifting, car stunt, semi truck, tuning simulator all-in-one package...

...then this game is calling your name.

I've played the free version (0.9.8.0) for almost 3 years now. I waited patiently for the 0.9.9.0 update.

I can say, without a doubt, that the wait was absolutely worth it.

The UI is much cleaner looking. The atmosphere, cloud, and nebula rendering are orders of magnitude (pun intended) better than they were previously. VR support is here now too, although I can't test it out myself.

You will gain a new understanding of the true scale of our universe after playing this. It might seem like it's impossible to zoom in on a star when you're flying in free mode, but that's simply due to the fact that stars are microscopic compared to galaxies. You have to slow down to a crawl (a crawl being a few times the speed of light) to observe a passing solar system. The stars in the background will appear stationary since they're insanely far away.

Beyond the exploration of known objects such as the Milky Way and Andromeda, you can visit an infinite number of galaxies in SE, each with billions of stars, many of which have planets, most of which have 1-50+ moons. No matter how far you wander, even on a cold selena lit by a dim brown dwarf in a dark corner of a galaxy 200 billion light years from Earth, you will be able to share the ID of that body with anyone, allowing them to visit it themselves on their copy of the game (provided you aren't using any mods - unless something has changed with 0.9.9.0, adding mods will change how the procedural objects are generated).

This is my favorite space-related game ever. Whenever I feel stressed out, I fire up SE and remind myself just how small and insignificant this world and all of its problems are.

Where to begin....

WT is, by far, the BEST F2P aerial combat game on the market right now. While it is by no means a flight sim, the mechanics are more realistic than most popular games involving aircraft. Arcade battles provide a casual experience, while realistic battles provide the best comprimise between realism and playability.

As for the graphics...well I'll let the game speak for itself. Absolutely stunning. It runs incredibly well for how detailed it is. Props (pun intended) to the devs for the hard work they've put into the aircraft models and scenery.

Addressing the P2W concerns - yes, this game is a grind. Do not expect to be flying jets within your first few months of playing. With the way the unlocks are set up, you will not be better simply by getting higher tier aircraft. Crew skill, aircraft upgrades, and player skill are much more important than higher tier aircraft. Players can pay to progress faster, but unless they practice, they will not have an advantage. Much like how a new driver in a Ferrari is just as bad as a new driver in a Honda civic, a bad player in a jet is still a bad player.

Overall, if you like complex games with in-depth mechanics then you will probably like WT. If you're looking for an easy causal game that you can get right into, then you'll probably wnat to look elsewhere.

By far, one of, if not THE best zombie game of all time. The details are what make me come back to this game over and over again. For example, zeds can do damage to each other, and will even start fighting each other to the death. Nothing funnier than seeing two Scrakes fighting each other after one of them accidently hit the other while trying to kill you.

Unlike most shooters where increasing difficulty simply increases the number of enemies and their health, KF2 gives you new zeds with new abilities. This means you must change your gameplay instead of just shooting better. Hell on Earth will kick your ass.

Every class is fun to play, and they are all decently balanced. Since every class has access to every weapon in the game, there are thousands of strategies you can use to win. The game is also frequently updated with new content, including new classes and weapons for existing classes.

Graphics wise, it is absolutely beautiful. Plenty of gore and ragdoll physics. Game runs around 60 FPS with my GTX 780 and i5 3570k, with dips into the 30s sometimes. That is with maxed out settings, however, the game still looks fantastic when you turn down some of the more demanding settings.

Overall, I'd give this game a 9/10, only because there are still some annoying bugs that affect my experience, although they don't happen often (maybe one crash for every 10 hours of gameplay). Other than that, this game is flawless and a must-buy for any fan of the genre.

One of the best competitive games on steam. Initially I thought that $20 was a waste for just RC car soccer, but I found out I was wrong. Extremely addicting, well-optimized, and all-around great game.

Great game, but outright banning mods is unacceptable. Paid mods were one thing, they at least had good intentions even though it didn't work out. Banning people for mods is another thing. Scripthook disables custom sctripts in MP, which is what the majority of people use. R*, this not how you treat PC gamers.

I know I don't have much playtime, so take my review for what it's worth. I droppped CoD about a year ago when I sold my Xbox 360, and haven't touched it since. Haven't even watched a full match of Ghosts. I mostly play ArmA 3, which is so far from CoD that the only similarity between the two is guns.

So why did I buy AW?

I simply wanted a fast-paced shooter that I can play while jacked on dew at 12am. And this is just that.

All the reviews saying "LAGGG" and "Broken" are exaggerations. Now, as you know, I have no reason to defend CoD, ask any ArmA player what they think of the game and you're sure to get some...colorful...responses. But this game is working quite well. No lag that I noticed in the few games I played online. I am starting to think all the people getting lag have, I don't know, maybe...bad internet? No, can't possibly be THEIR fault, it's ovbiously the broken game..

As for the complaints of graphical errors, go to /r/pcmasterrace for some fixes, or /r/codaw (the fix thread is at the top right now). There are a few fixes. As you all know, this is a game meant for console peasants that is pretty much ported to PC, so of course there will be some issues. Just follow the advice over there and you'll find that this is a good-looking shooter that doesn't deserve the hate it recieves.

So, what's the verdict?

If you are a hardcore CoD fan and you buy every title every year, there is no reason to not get this game. If you are on the fence (like I was), wait a few weeks (or until christmas when the new wave of noobs come along) and maybe there will be some fixes. For me at least, there was about 30 minutes of tweaking the settings to my satisfaction and the rest was me actually enjoying the game.
