I used to love playing the original zoo tycoon; and as more of them has come out, they have gotten a bit more disappointing. The last zoo tycoon I played was more about being a petting zoo to the player than actually being a game of any sort. Planet zoo fixes that! Gorgeous graphics, tons of customizations, and the ability to breed and trade animals online? I'm so on board.

A wonderful game to make your friends mad at you. For what? Oh dear, many, many things. Might I suggest an electric shield? Chain lightning is by far the earliest and easiest spamable ally-killer. Later in the game when you start learning more creative torture? You're on your own.

Lovecraft! Woo! Which, to anyone who knows means crazy scary monsters, insanity meters, and fear of the unknown! Get ready to play games with RNG Jesus as you hire adventurers to clear out your newly aquired property... avoiding spoilers here! It's all about rough decisions. Try to save your creepy Leper tank, or let him die to finish the quest because, let's be honest, you're getting more adventurers on the cart in the morning... They're all disposable.

I enjoyed this game greatly, and could continue to play more easily!

A lot of fun to play with friends. Picked up 10 copies while it was on sale, and we had an absolute blast with it. Dead game or no, was fun when we had people to throw together and play with.
