Here are the problems i found in Two Worlds 2.

- Game breaking bug.
This was encountered after i started the game where that female orc tried to jump over some broken stairs but she couldnt. She got stucked there and i had to restart a go through it again several times until she finally manages to actually jump over.

- Control scheme.
I think the biggest drawback this game has is the awful control scheme. Although you can rebind them, you cant however change what those keys do. For instance, both sprinting and sneaking uses the RMB and this can't be changed. You can rebind them, but you can't assign those two actions to two different keys.

- AI
I started on the hardest possible setting and for some reason, it's not even hard at all. It feels as if you are the most OP being in the game and the enemy AI on this setting mostly just stands there and let you hit them till they die. They would only react at some instances but for the most part, they just have their weapon drawn and they just stand there. The AI pathfinding is bad too for both enemies and allies. On some occasions, allies get stuck which means you cannot progress any further because most of the time, your allies are part of the quest. If you wanna get this despite numerous player warnings, please keep it in mind that you need to manually save every 5mins or so.

- Voice Acting/Animation
You guys remember how bad that whitewashed Dragonball movie was? This is much worse paired with bad/awkward animation. It's like when you stumble across a movie on Netflix and gave it a go because it had a cool title but then immediately regret it because the acting was worse than a ♥♥♥♥ parody. That's exactly how it felt playing this game.


Despite that, Two Worlds does offer some cool loot, an interesting magic system and an amazing open world. I'm an open world pleb and most of what's in my library are open world games so when I say that it has an amazing open world, i meant it. Apart from that, i wouldn't recommend this game. Game mechanics seem like it'd make it a great game. But there are so many issues that overshadow the good traits this game has.

Paranoia hits you when you go deeper underwater or when you travel further from your lifepod/base. Gud geim


Update: Game is still good. Paranoia increasing. Torpedos are useless against leviathans. World is huge. I've barely scratched the suface of the game world and it's easy to get lost. Beacons recommended

I hate RPGMaker games. I honestly do. I think any game made with RPGMaker is trash and idk why people bother buying them. But this game is an exception because it actually helps people learn Japanese. It's bad in terms of being a game, but it's insanely good if you're looking to start learning Japanese. But it can get sort of cringy

It's way more punishing than the newer Xcom games.

I can't recommend this game because of the community. That's just about it haha.
But it's still a fun game to play especially with friends.

Here's a game that deserves to be called a 'war game'.

Foxhole is one of those games that actually makes you realise how war actually is and how hard it is to even gain 2 feet of ground from the enemy. The game has heavy emphasis on teamwork where the game revolves primarily on resource management, shared among all the other players in a server. This means that resources need to be gathered and is the very foundation of the game. No resources means you'll eventually lose and because of that, keeping a consistent refinement and production is absolutely needed. These resources willl then be used for building structures, vehicles, producing weapons etc.

Now let's talk about combat. Since the game is from a top-down perspective, your vision and aim is limited to only what you see on screen added with line of sight which can be blocked by objects or other players. This adds to the challenge but it also means you won't really get sniped and lose 20 guys to 1 lone camper far far away from you. This forces the idea of frontal assaults and strategy which is a core part of the combat. The way the combat is designed is to create a back and forth sort of action so if you're ever contesting for a town, it's gonna take a huge amount of time and resources.

Best part about the game though? The devs who listen and the less-than toxic community. Gotta love the community.

11/10 would take 5 hours irl just to take over a town again
