I've been having a blast with this game so far!
Pretty captivating story, and the VAs in this one are really good as well.
I didn't look into who are the actual VAs, but I swear I've heard them before elsewhere, and they did a great job! (I swear one of them has to be the VA for Otocon from the MGS games lol)

Landscapes and areas look fantastic, and the challenges are pretty varied with quite a lot of different "enemies/anomalies".

The game's gameplay mechanics are pretty solid as well, maybe just a tiny smidge tedious at the start since there's a lot to learn but that ends up being pretty fine once you get used to all of it. The tutorial part is really well explained too so should be even easy for new players of the genre to try it out and not feel too confused.

Each level presents something I find unique, blending exploration with decision-making that could easily make or break a run. As for the gameplay loop, I've played many rogue-likes (even though this one might not really be considered as one), so extracting and revisiting some of the same places to farm more loot and progress, it's what I like to do personally, so maybe a weeeeee bit biased? :p
Highly recommended for fans of rogue-likes/survival games with a decent story and gameplay.

As survival crafting games are concerned, with all the experience I've had with many games of this genre (it's one of my favorites actually so might be a smidge biased), I can say this game is going to end up being among the better ones to play for sure.
It is a little slower pace than some at this time, so if you're into being chill and build away, not see the time fly by, definitely worth a play.
Surprisingly for an early access, still quite a lot to do at this time, and only more to come.
Runs pretty well so far with the occasional dip, but as with all EAs, all kinks that will eventually be ironed out.

I've played numerous remakes/remasters of old games over the years and decades, but this one here is a fantastic example of what remakes and remasters should be like.

I remember playing the original on the PS1 when this released, really loved it and played it dozens of times, but this release really makes this game shine.

The visuals are exceptional, the new music is composed great and the new little features added are a great compliment to an already solid JRPG.

My only, tiniest of irks is the English voice acting, but(!) it definitely encapsulates the same corniness (if that's the correct word?) that the original had, so I'm still happy about it!

10/10 from me so far! Great job!

This was a fantastic multiplayer survival game! Played it many times when new expansions/patches came out during the early access and completed with with a friend from start to finish. Was one of the best one's of this type I've played in a long time. Story was great as well! I really hope that they eventually either come out with another expansion or even a sequel. Would definitely play again!

For the bit that I've played so far, it's an incredibly fun game. Felt all the nostalgia slapping my brain around the whole time I was playing.
The pixelated graphics are a nice touch, but the soundtrack to me is probably the top thing I've noticed and loved so far with this game. Once that Episode 3 track started pumping, I knew I was definitely in for a great time. Great job on this game, definitely hoping for more in the future!

I've must have played over 20 full playthroughs of multiple game versions throughout the years ever since the SNES version got into my hands back when I was a kid, and I can say that this version is by far one of my favorites!

- Fantastic remastered music tracks
- Crispy pixel graphics
- Controls and feels overall great

Even though I'm (personally) a bit disappointed that some features haven't been transferred over (e.i customizable UI, optional GBA stuff etc), I would definitely recommend this game if you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series, or if you've ever enjoyed this masterpiece at any point in time!

Played since Heavensward, and each and every xpac has been a fantastic journey!
Visuals are great, music scores are outstanding. This game just keeps on giving! Great with friends too!

Brings back memories, played this over and over when I was a kid.
Absolutely love the new soundtrack!

It's been quite some time since the last time I played this game, so my review reflects what I've put in when this expac came out.
I really did enjoy this expansion quite a bit! Easily put in about 100hrs+, quite a few new monsters but unfortunate that some of them were just remixed but all the new additions (and from what I can see, the newly added ones recently) were really fun to fight!
Actually reinstalling it as I'm writing this review to fight some of the newer ones and give that a go!
If you like(d) Monster Hunter World, you would definitely like this expac!
Now, if only there was an option to turn off the voiceover for that handler...
