This game is just AMAZING. Absolutely recommended.

It has some minor annoyances here and there, like hitboxes being absolutely horrendous and unskippable cutscenes, but it's still a really fun, challenging and rewarding experience.

The most important advice:

Seriously, there's a lot of people in the comments who seem to dislike the genre in the first place. If that's the case, you won't enjoy this game at all.

However, even if you like metroidvanias, there are a couple game design things I don't like about this game:

• Very limited quick travel. I know it's not a must in metroidvanias, but it'd be a lot better to have more ways to explore the map without it feeling tedious.
  
• Some parts of the map become blocked/closed after certain events and the map doesn't reflect that, nor there is a way to update the map. This is pretty terrible IMO, making a map almost useless is not a good design choice.
  
• I like the notches system: you have a limited amount of slots for equipping abilities, the amount of slots each ability needs varies, and you can upgrade the amount of slots you have throughout the game. However, you can only change them in save points, and there aren't that many across the map, and some abilities don't make the game easier, just less tedious (like the one which indicates where you are in the map).

Those three elements above make the game feel a lot more tedious rather than difficult. There could've been reworked without losing any difficulty whatsoever. I don't really like it when I feel a game is not respecting the player's time.

The best part of the game is the combat: simple, elegant, and it never feels unfair. Only minor annoyance is contact damage, but that's just a personal preference I guess.

I still recommend the game, it was pretty enjoyable and fun, but I don't consider it the masterpiece most of the community seems to agree it is.

This is the official "support" they were offering for the bug a lot of people had some days ago. Now they forcefully removed it from our accounts. An absolute shame.

Adobe Premiere is better anyways.

We can't play 2 games in a row without someone randomly being kicked off the server.
