Love this game! I was never really any good at LoL or HoN..or any of the other moba's honestly, but I always enjoyed playing with friends, learning the gods and team fight mechanics, and of course earning new skins. The birds eye view and the click to move style of the game was a huge handicap for me, and really kinda limited my overall enjoyment of the game-play. Smite answered my prayers! With the camera set behind my character and the movement bound to my fingers i can actually focus on using my abilities and avoiding/entering fights! I've gotten so much better at this game and generally always have fun. I have a few friends that play with me, but i play the unranked arena mode most often, which is totally fun as a solo and offers the opportunity to get familiar with all the gods before entering the classic lane pushing games. Most of the gods are still locked for me, but have unlocked more than enough to keep me satisfied and they rotate gods availability so all you can try them all out eventually. It's a great free to play game, and i spend money on it when i can just to show some support..........and for skins. I cant lie, i love skins.
