The game was fun when it worked but now won't even launch for me anymore. I've tried every fix I've read about online, updated drivers, verified integrity of game files, tried every single possible work around, uninstalled and reinstalled and.. it still will not launch. This is a known issue that has existed for over 2 weeks since the writing of this review and it still has not been fixed. Call of Duty HQ has broken the launcher. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME or any of the other Call of Duty titles until a multi tens of billions of dollar company can figure out how to not break their games. This should not be an issue for a 2 year old title. What a complete joke.

Epic games sucks

I love this game.

There's something about this game that has such a wonderful charm to it, especially with friends. Controls take a quick moment to learn but after that, the game is a blast. Though, the single player has much to offer in terms of difficulty and learning how to master the game as well as competing on the leader boards for a high scores. I can't recommend this enough to someone looking for a new party game for their discord group to try out. Truly a hidden gem.

The game progresses from your car starting bone stock to ending with a hilariously unrealistic monster of a vehicle that manages to make >22.4million hp that, from a driver's perspective, will send your car flipping through the air at the speed of light. There's no steering, just a drag strip where players focus on perfecting each and every shift to cross the finish line first and earn dosh in order to upgrade their vehicle in between rounds. There are plenty of different game modes to try that I won't bother trying to explain because I know I'm going to do a terrible job describing. But I would argue that most of them hold up, even if you're only playing with one other person.

There are some bugs in it at the time of review. Multiplayer lobbies are occasionally bugging and needing to be restarted, but this only serves as a rare minor inconvenience. I'm probably just a dummy but some of the modifiers in the tuning menus are hard to understand what exactly they do.

Overall, the dev working on this game has done a wonderful job at creating a game that is simply fun to play with friends.

It's pretty scary, jump scares, it's gory, turns me on. I'd recommend it to a friend 9/8. GG
