it's fine, as hard as it was all those years ago, but the new visuals have this weird bloom filter on them that might turn off a lot of people

it's... fine. i don't like it and asked for a refund because not being able to tell what is stage and what is background is simply too big of a problem for me to actually enjoy a game based around platforming

would still recommend it for holo fans i guess

playing without hyper mode feels like a punishment

unarguably the best dlc of the bunch to get if you do not want to get all of them, a lot is on offer

the cynic in me wishes we got another actual castlevania offering from konami and so this, in its own way, feels like capitalization on how starved the fans are, but also vampire survivor is a fine game on its own so eh i guess

is it a good xcom game? no. is it a fun game? yes. are there better games in this genre? the modern EDF games, for starters. but as part of the x-com pack, this is alright. nothing especially offensive or bad about it.

insanely goofy follow up to 1 and 2 but yet it still works

bolstered by years of work on dead cells, the devs set out to make a new game. it is as much spectacle as it is gameplay, and boy does it handle and play well

i am tired of comparing games to their inspiration so i'll just say that this game does well on its own merits - handles well, plays well, looks good, and is fun to play in general

a modern classic. 4 great campaigns. i think shovel of hope is the worst one of the lot for a variety of reason (1-2 punch of the latter levels with a rather vanilla move set) but every campaign is worth playing. a modern classic, that goes above and beyond its inspiration. i could gush for hours about this. i will forever be a showdown hater but it was included for free so i cannot complain too much.
