when i first booted the game, within 15 minutes i got sick and had to throw up because of something i had for lunch that day

but the idea of the game stuck with me even through that that i just had to boot it up again to play more of it

Some really cool ideas here. Base gameplay loop is fine, but I feel like it's missing a little juice to get over the finish line. Would've liked to see the battery mechanic used way more than it is in the current game. As it is, still a fun time to play through.

Runs insanely poorly. Buy on sale or not at all.

it's cute and fun to play, and despite people saying the cats look weird i think they look adorable. strongly recommend

I'm sure the game is good but I can't even get past the player select screen because keyboard is automatically detected as P1. Kind of insane for a 2019 video game to have such issues with controllers.

Will probably play more but leaving the review as negative forever, because this is a widespread issue and good luck finding a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fix.

the most okay sonic game. the levels are fine, the world themes are at the very least interesting. gameplay is also extremely fine and sonic mostly controls well, at least better than some other games (looking at you sonic forces)

story is from "that" era of sonic though so you can just play it and skip the cutscenes because you truly are not missing anything. recommend on sale.

the gameplay is mostly fine. the story is forgettable so if you enjoy the gameplay, skipping every cutscene is a possibility. unfortunately, the rest of the game is still tedious, even if the gameplay is palatable

also do not try to 100% the game there are too many stupid sidequests

Man, there's a lot to say. Despite fans trying to gas up 06 and saying that it can be redeemed, this is somehow hailed as the worst Sonic game by some. While it's not *that* bad, it's also far from good.

Controls : Momentum makes no sense. 0-100, you just start zooming, you WILL die because acceleration is insane. Classic Sonic controls so bad

Level design : Insanely bland. There's a pulse here and there but you will forget about most of it. Visually pretty though, and some good ideas on that front.

The Avatar stuff : the Avatar is fine, but you are drowned in endless missions, endless pop ups for parts, ranking up??? A lot of weird decisions that just feel outlandish in a Sonic game

Overall, you'd be better served going for literally any other Sonic game. Just a puzzle of a game that I cannot and do not want to solve.

this is a good game and you should play it. the strategy aspect is fun, the mech designs are good (you are wrong if you think otherwise) and i would die for Piper
