A beautiful rework of a classic

If you are a (wannabe) (closet) Fascist, Communist, Imperialist, (insert your country) Nationalist, (insert your group) Supremacist, Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, Socialist, etc. etc. etc. and unhappy with how the World Wars ended, then this is the game for you.

The trick is to focus on war preparation, rather than the war.

This is a vintage (2004) masterpiece is great for learning Caribbean geography, 17th-century ship designs, and that there was an Incan lost city in the Yucatan.

What more can I write? It is a historical total war game, you get battles and campaigns. If you like the Napoleonic Wars, the WWII for 19th-century Europeans, the war that everybody wants to be in and fantasized about, or that you fantasized about being Napoleon or Wellington or a French Imperial Young Guard or a Russian Cossack, then this is the game for you.

This vintage masterpiece was where I first learnt to appreciate to the beauty of thousands of dead soldiers lying across a field and where I learnt that urban management is letting a city revolt and then massacring the excess population.

But be warned! You will get a F if starts an history essay with “All the Roman Republic was divided into four parts…” or “The ancient Greek city-states were one country, contrary to what you said earlier today in class…”

If humans cannot even manage Earth and not stop killing each other, why do you think they be "better" on some other planets?

The world's best genocide, arranged marriage, vote buying, imperialism, slavery, religious war, irresponsible loan, double-crossing, and treating young men of your country as mere numbers simulator!

Don't play in competitive to boost your self-esteem after a long day, play against bots instead.
