The only Far Cry that I enjoy (and I enjoy it a lot). The theme of 'resistance against religious psychopath extremists' makes for a captivating villain arc, with a sinister edge that keeps you interested. There's loads of bits of content to do as you explore, albeit slightly repetitive in the usual way that open-world games are, but with enough variation to prevent it from becoming stale.

Think I've played the first 10 minutes about 15 times.

Really satisfying classic shooter with loads of gore, sometimes it's nice to just mow tons of enemies down.

The game may open up later on, but I found the start to be too boring and unengaging, so I couldn't stick around to find out. Felt very much like I was just going through the motions waiting for something interesting to unlock, rather than it being an enjoyable process right from the start.

Super quick but really chill and while I can't imagine myself replaying this I could see people getting plenty of replayability just for zen purposes alone.

Absolute trash

Will you fail a level because your wheel randomly came off due to landing a required jump? Yes.
Will you keep going anyway until you finish all 32 levels? Yes.

This game is extremely short and very unfair, but surprisingly addictive. I'd recommend picking it up when 80-90% off but would not personally pay any more - I completed the game in 40 minutes.

I felt just zero motivation to do anything, no engagement for me.

This game is great! I'm less than an hour into it so far and I already got stumped trying to make my program efficient, I'm taking one step longer than I should be.

I decided to get a coffee and ponder on it.

Everything feels so slick and polished, and this is a great way to get into logic problems in the form of programming without getting your hands dirty. It's really fun if you like to push your brain and experiment.

The game is all about combat, and the combat just isn't exciting at all. You are instantly thrown into a story with terrible plot and you just run from place to place doing side quests and killing more things; I honestly wouldn't mind this at all if the combat was good, but it just feels really clunky, and you can't even counter attacks, you can only block.

If this game had Shadow of Mordor combat (A.K.A Batman combat) then it'd be pretty damn fun and I'd put more time into it than the very short amount of time that I have so far.

If you're looking for a combat game, this is a bad combat game to buy, and if you're looking for anything else, this is still a bad game to buy.

P.S: This is a bad console port and a controller is an absolute necessity to play this game, in my opinion.
