Campy, flavorful vibes as you plot deep in your mountain lair. Game has a lot of flavor and soul, you can tell the developers cared about what they were doing.

Vastly improved single player experience, although still somewhat lacking - the inability to choose the AI's fleet (even if only from fleets you set up yourself) when setting up Skirmish 1v1comp kind of sucks. I just want to 1v1 the Vengeful Spirit with Macragge's Honour :(
