I just wanted to drive in "sandbox mode" but the game fades to black when I drive over a red signal and there is no way to make them green or create a scenario where a whole section is simply green.

People in the forums seem to argue that driving over a red signal would get you fired in real life but like why the hell did I buy the game then instead of getting a job as train driver?
Like not having explosions in KSP because explosions are dangerous lol.
Or like when you accidentally touch a tree in MSFS and the whole thing fades to black too.

Games like this suck. I hate this trend.

Apart from this, something is wrong with the way they are handling mouse input. When I click a control in the cab and them am supposed to drag(?) the mouse, nothing happens when actually dragging the mouse (in any direction), sometimes it glitches violently but will end up where the control started, so it's unplayable for me unless I use a controller or stream to Steam Deck.

Another annoying thing is the fact that when you have two addons which both contain the same city, you can't make a scenario where you connect the addons.

I'd not buy this again.

I don't want to use the lame ass radio tower when the dumb sherrif said in a 0/10 voice actor emotion I should stay away from it?

Surprised to see that this runs with 24 fps with "balanced" graphics preset on SteamDeck.

You can even get Mercury to space with the default keymap, but you need to tweak it to look around anyways so I recommend creating a custom mapping that corresponds to the keyboard controls.

Using the UI is a nightmare, how can this be "Deck Verified"?

Walking simulator with annoying camera and music.

Nothing makes sense, one day you're walking slowly to some building, next thing you know the ground melts and you are slowly walking away from frankenstein dolphin monsters.
But always walking slowly, with that weird disgusting baby annoying the ♥♥♥♥ out of you for some reason.

Take a shot every time "Hideo Kojima" is shown on screen to make it bearable, you'll die of liver damage before you finished the game.

I wish I could refund this dirt.

My recommendation: Play in newtonian mode only.

I don't know what kind of problems valve is having, but this game works perfectly on steam deck.

The only thing I have to say about the "canon" status: This is a way better story than anything disney has ever come up with. I'll live in denial forever, the new canon succccccsssss!

Love this game, really fun to play and not too hard to master (but also not too easy).
