A nice horror twist on what is essentially a co-op detective game. The game is best played with others as performing the objectives by yourself is quite slow and more difficult.

Overall, the game has a bright future if the developers continue to polish and update the game as they have been doing so far. Otherwise, the game can suffer from staleness and repetition if changes and additions don't come frequently enough.

As a result, the game also gets less scary the more you play it and so it'll need a lot more polish to maintain that "scary" vibe. I would suggest to partially remedy this by adding:
+ music and sounds such as those that add suspense much like the ones found in horror movies
+ significantly more ghost events so that I'm not expecting the same small handful of events; possibly ghosts walking on walls/ceilings, more violent ghost reactions like windows shattering, etc...
+ objectives or abilities for dead players to do/have while waiting for living players to finish
+ Steam workshop support for allowing the mod community to keep things fresh

Still fun a year later of playing and devs continue to improve things.

Side note, performance issues can make this game struggle to run at 60+ fps on mid-high end systems. Game can crash randomly.

A must have for VR users. Works really well with my WMR headset too.

A great game to intro into VR, especially for friends and family that don't play video games in general.

Mods are a must in order to make the most out of this game because the default songs can get stale after a few hours and playing with modded songs I actually recognize is way more engaging and fun.

I have 100% completed the game except for about 50 or so picture frames. The game is just as good as I remember it being from the GameCube version.

I have not encountered any major game breaking bugs or glitches. No crashes either. I have however, noticed some frame rate dips but they did not occur often. I will also note that I am playing on the highest visual settings that are availalbe at this time. My specs on my profile if interested.

The Steam Leaderboard integration is a nice touch, and controller support appears to be excellent (because afterall it was originally released for consoles). I'm using a wired XBOX 360 controller which is usually the standard controller.

As an Early Access title, it's great on my end so far though some users are reporting problems such as not being able to launch the game. Devs appear to be looking into things.

If you're a fan of the old school 3D platforming games, I recommend giving this game a try while it's still on sale! Fantastic Australian environments and soundtrack. It definitely gives the game that unique feel.

Hopefully Ty2 and Ty3 get ported as well!
