I want to be honest with you:

This is not the game for me.
Tried it for around 100h and it just don't kicking in.
It's so bright, endless, filled with opportunities and exhausting and empty in the same way.

Let me give you an example; storage management.
Your inventory is not very expanded but you'll need alot of space(seriously), so you have to upgrade it, you'are looking for drop pods or you'll buy those upgrades at the space station.
So far so unspectacular.
But, what's about your ship cargo, and hey, don't forget your freighter, base, exocraft and the need of the matter beams which are often locked behind some tech you have to unlock or "discover" in one or another way...

Basically it forced you into a deep dive on one mechanic, just so you can do basic things, and it will eat up alot of time to achieve that.
And here is the problem for me - it happend with everything.

Some may like it, I don't.

On the other hand, it respects you and your money, no DLC's, no micro transactions, so nothing with pay to win or fancy cosmetics witch cost a kidney. Whatever you find ingame is unlockable by yourself.
Thats cool.

I feel bad about it, but it's not my cup of tea but still a good and respectable entry in the endless world of games.

I wished for a yellow sideway thumb here.

Yet, just another Korean MMORPG.
Nothing special here.

Cash grab and a lot other super annoying things.

It has its moments and it has its quirks.

I'm realy not a fan of the rng system in the chip-fusion section.
Also the face animations are far from good.
But at least the face impressions from robocop are on point.

Whatever the case, it is an entertaining game.

The gameplay is good but that's about it.
The rest feels empty.
just like another sequel.

The Invincible, named after the book of the same name by Stanisław Lem, doesn't feel like a game based solely on the idea.
For me it is a tribute to the work and vision of a person who wanted to convey respect for nature in a fantastic and visually powerful way.
Thanks to the great storytelling of this game, it brings the story on Regis III into the modern day and gives every player the opportunity to still read the original book without having to anticipate too much.

For me, one of the best games of the year.

Atomic Heart, what can I say...

It's not bad, but not great either.
The musical accompaniment is terrific.
The combat mechanics are fun, the puzzles are entertaining too.

I also like the environment and the whole sci-fi setting.
It suits my taste, but there is a big but:

The open world isn't really open and is also full of enemies, which just gets annoying at some point.
The story feels patched together and is rushed through very quickly towards the end.
The entire scene feels somehow lifeless without being empty.
Although it is graphically implemented first-class.

I won't play the game a second time even though it was a lot of fun at times. And unfortunately I'm not interested in the DLC either.
On Sale For $30-40 or less I would definitely recommend it.

Atomic Heart just lacks some heart.
