Fun game

This game is fun but to be honest it's definitely not as good as ETS2, I like that there's a lot of buttons you can toggle with the mouse in the cockpit but I think the biggest weakness of this game is the UI, selecting and adding routes is pretty confusing.

I find that the tutorial doesn't really elaborate critical controls like turn signals, hazard lights, mirrors right away too like the tutorial mission in ETS2 which basically explains the controls in the game in that 1 mission.
In bus simulator you basically have to wing the first drive/ the controls are explained in later drives.

Also, mouse steering is still a bit wonky, the camera moves slightly in mouse steering which can be a crash hazard waiting to happen. The camera with mouse steering enabled is very finicky, you have to slow down and stop to readjust the camera occasionally to not crash into a guard rail/ car/ pedestrian.

The graphics leave much to be desired tbh, since ETS2, a game that came out in 2012 has better graphics than this game, albeit from continued support by the devs over the years.
I think this game focuses too much on trivial features like waking up sleeping passengers or the ability to walk outside the bus in 3rd person mode rather than focusing on handling or better AI traffic and a better UI.

At the current price I wonder if the regular person would just get as much fun buying ETS2 or AMTS, Since even the base game for those 2 are alot cheaper than this game at the current sale price and they're pretty satisfying as far as detailed driving sims go plus there's a mountain of DLC for those games with new map expansions dropping pretty regularly.

Overall I think this can be a great game with some further polish, but currently it's a bit of a hard sell tbh. Still I'm glad I tried it a bit on a free weekend.

Allows me to be lazy af typing on my xbox one controller with the chatpad attached, best 3 bucks i ever spent.

Feels somewhat like outrun plus the music pretty chill. Also, the game feels pretty nice on the controller albeit it's not full controller support. Pretty good $2 I've spent so far tbh.
