Probably the best visual novel game I have played. This game is a wonderful and rewarding experience. It is slow for a while- ignore that. Keep playing the game, keep trying to get endings, eventually it will get extremely good. You won't see any psychological horror elements until you're about 2/3 of the way through, but trust me when I say that they are WORTH THE WAIT. If you think Doki Doki Literature Club is meta and creepy, just wait- this game takes Monika and makes her look like a joke.

I will say, people overstate how much you need the NSFW patch for the plot. IMO it's only about 15% relevant and the rest is just gooning. Some of the scenes are honestly long and uncomfortable to watch, and I just scrolled my phone while I waited for them to be over because a lot of the time it's not even necessary. I would still recommend getting it though, simply because it also censors general dialogue that is in normal scenes and you want to be able to understand everything.

ALSO, I will give a warning (and a spoiler) to anyone who loves animals: there is a scene where, when the psychological horror elements come into play, the main antagonist kills a cat. It is not shown on-screen, but she is covered in blood, is holding the weapon she used to do it, and has some scratches on her face. It is not mentioned again after this point.

But yeah, get this game. It is amazing and I will always recommend it.

It's very fun and very rewarding. Even if you don't win every match, you're still (usually) rewarded for trying. As killer, winning chases and hooking is an experience that feels fun and is always fresh, and there are some easier killers and some harder ones. As survivor, doing generators and healing team mates feels like it actually matters most of the time.

Characters aren't expensive on both the killer and the survivor side. Obviously the licensed characters cost more, but for base-game non-licensed characters, you can either pay with the free currency you get or you can get them with real money for a cheaper price.

Most of the characters have a reason to have them as well- survivors can have any perks they want, so if you like one's perks but want to look like someone else, you can. As for killers, they still have certain abilities, but you can customize them to an extent. The ability to customize your play style in this game is great, and there's a perk for almost anything.

I'm a new player but I've been hooked (pun intended) ever since I started. This game feels great to play.

Unfortunately this is my least favorite out of the Co09 series. It is extremely boring, and at most times extremely uncomfortable. The other 2 games with Nicole were interesting even if they were messed up because at least she fought back against whoever was being a d1ck to her, but Jecka just sits there and takes it and it's really hard to watch. A large majority of the game is her being screamed at by her dad as he threatens to beat her over legit nothing. Also, there's only 5 endings, and way less choices than the first 2 games. They took all the agency out of it. Now instead of "choose your own adventure", it's "choose how Jecka gets abused".

I tried hard to like it but it's just not fun. I found myself skipping most of the dialogue due to boredom, something I never did in the 1st game.

Class of 09 fell off

Hard but fun. Even better with friends. There's a learning curve, but once you get the hang of things it's very fun with endless replay value and plenty of updates. You can feel the amount of care the devs have for this game. Also, money isn't needed at any point in-game unless you want cosmetics, and they aren't even expensive.

This game is very, very good, and I would highly recommend it. It's a bit difficult to get all of the endings, but there's plenty of guides on Steam that will help you if needed. I would definitely recommend getting all of them because this game has a lot of good, interesting endings, and it only takes about 18-20 hours if you use a guide.

Also, the music and art is amazing. You will likely find yourself going on Spotify to listen to the soundtrack afterwards.

Very addictive and fun! It's an easy "cozy" game, but progression feels fast and natural unlike other games. I'm not far in the story but so far I quite enjoy it. As someone who played Viva Pinata as a kid and is replaying it now, I heavily enjoy this game and there is also a reference to it in a purchasable item. I also have 150ish (I think) hours in Stardew Valley, and although the two aren't similar in every way, the whole "decorate your land with lush greens and flowers/trees" really lured me in.

Overall a great series. My first time playing. Played 1st game on Normal and was very hard, played 2nd on Easy and was a bit less rage-inducing. Bosses in both games are very lackluster and boring, but the regular levels and puzzles are a bit more challenging and have a lot more thought put in to them.

The puzzle and level design is VERY intentional, every enemy has a purpose and usually solves more than one puzzle in an area.

Story is okay. I didn't pay much attention, but it's easy to grasp.

Overall, I'd reccommend it if it was on sale. I recieved this as a gift.

A good, short game to play if you want something creepy but not too long.

I personally really wish it didn't hit you with the psychological horror so quickly-- there's not very much build up to it and it would hit harder if the climb was higher.

Getting every ending isn't difficult, which is nice.

This game is good, but unfortunately it falls a bit flat in the horror aspects. It's very predictable? Though that doesn't mean it's bad. It's a cool idea, but the horror elements are lackluster.

SPOILERS: Though, I do find some of the meta elements very interesting, such as when he says your real name if you input a different one in the game, or when he messes with the game files.

Pros:
>Very nice graphics
>Very nice sounds/sound design
>Great music, when it decides to play
>Characters are likable, even the ones with a "mean" personality
>Don't need to spend money to succeed or have fun
>In-game purchasable outfits are very nice-looking and high quality

Cons:
>ONE OUTFIT is $32. EGREGIOUS prices. Luckily these outfits are optional.
>Gets boring after a while. Very repetitive gameplay loop. Gather materials, plant/water crops, talk to villagers, fetch quest
>No minimap, constantly pressing M key to find where I'm going
>Laggy at times
>Why do I have to wait 8 hours just to have my house be built...?
>Can't gift cosmetics to other players as a gift

I recommend it if you like repetitive games. It's also still in beta so I'm sure it'll get better. I was part of closed beta and haven't noticed much differences in quality. Personally, despite the backlash it's getting, I'm going to continue to play unless I get bored of it. Though I don't know if I'll be spending any money unless a friend gifts it to me, a lot of "cozy gamer" YouTubers and online users are worried if the game will even live long enough for it to be a good enough envestment.
