I got this game for the emotes ngl

I original made a joke review 2 or 3 years ago when I first started fishing but at this point I've achieved the 'Big Fish' Title for catching all of the big fish from ARR to SHB and I'm on my way to getting the 'World-Class Troller' Title from ocean fishing too.
The fishing in Final Fantasy XIV is some of the most time consuming content you'll come across, months of my life wasted away in pursuit of the title of 'Big Fish' and it's been some of the most fun I've had so far in Eorzea, I've met a lot of lovely people in my journey and their company made this gruelling task all the more bearable.
Just like the game's story, fishing will make you feel sadness, anger, and overwhelming joy but mostly the first 2 cause unless you've got the luck of the gods on your side, you're gonna find yourself returning to the same fishing spot for weeks to even months on end just to try and try again to catch one bloody fish and fail every time... BUT the moment you finally catch it, the moment the fish is added to your log, the moment the achievement pops up on your screen... it is THE BEST FEELING a person will ever know!

In short, fishing in the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV is an addictive drug and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

Please fish responsibly.

It's a great blend of God Eater and Dark Souls but what I'm really here for is that character creation, you can do some really creative stuff with it if you have the time.
