It's a major improvement compared to last year's installment but that doesn't mean it's an amazing game. Some bugs that this game has can be game breaking at times. Sometimes the loading screen can get stuck, custom character portraits are glitched to look duped, this is only a visual glitch so not that big a deal. Body customization has been altered so you can only pick pre-made bodies instead of being creative and basically making your own from scratch, the physiques from the last games could be WAY better than now. I still had a blast playing this. 2K should definitely take their time and not release these games yearly as more time for development allows the devs to make a more solid game.

A very good FPS. The various character selection is great. The Chad however is too weak, he should be buffed to his realistic power. One criticism I have of the game however is that there should be a high score system that counts the highest kills you've gotten on a specific character.

Remember kids, Orange Man bad.

Actual review: This game is fantastic. Got the game a couple days after release on the Xbox 360. I must say, everything about the game is absolutely astonishing, the multiplayer has almost no hackers, as some COD games such as WAW, and MW1 is known for their infestation of Script kiddies and cheaters. The amount of fun you will have grinding to reach each prestige level is a bit slow since it wasn't like the old days when more people were on BO2 being a true sweat.

The Campaign is breathtaking, unlike BO3 (We don't talk about that one) it pays respect to it's previous title, taking events that unraveled in the first game, and lead the events up to this titles, so things actually make sense. It's admirable that throughout the campaign, you play in 2 different timelines. 1 where you play as Alex Mason during the Cold War, and David Mason, where you rage on into Post-Modernized technological warfare. Not to mention how good the story actually is. This is also the only COD where the choices you make throughout the story determines the outcome of the story itself, bringing something new in the COD franchise.

Zombos: What do I have to say that hasn't been said already about B02 Zombies? It's hella good. Even if you can't get your sweaty hands on the DLCs, there are still a couple maps you can have fun in and survive in. Feels just like BO1's zombies with same cold-war era weapons, perks, monkey bombs, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ teddy bear.

Overall: I cannot tell if it's the childhood part of me that is preaching this game, or that it's just a good game. Well, it's actually both. I totally recommend buying this game!!! Just not for $60 of course. Wait for a sale :)

Personal Thoughts: I've played this game on 3 different platforms. Xbox 360, PS4, and PC, and I must say, that despite me beating this game from start to finish 4 times, I never really get tired of this game. There aren't that many good zombie games out there, sure, you have killing floor and dead space, but those games doesn't offer as much variety and of course isn't a free-roaming experience like Dead Island.

Pros: As I said, the open world of the Benoi resort, the town, the jungle is almost limitless when you have different quests to fulfill. Sure, many people are biased against the sewers, but it's a quick process to go through. The difficulty of the game is very good, not too easy, and not too difficult. Weapon customization and mods give a bit of an extra spice, and provides further creativity in how you want to construct your weaponry. It's always satisfying to bash, slice, and shoot zombies in dead island, the game provides minimal stamina so you wont be effortlessly killing zombies like in every zombie game. Each action you do will either result in killing 1 zombie, and taking a hit from another, or positioning yourself and managing to kill them both. It's a matter of choice making when dealing with 1 zombie, or a horde. The game is also very fun if you play with a friend/group of friends, or you can simply play the game by yourself.

Cons: There are alot of bugs you may encounter in the game. One annoying bug is where if you throw your weapon on the ground, there is a slight chance that it might clip through the ground, and you will never be able to recover it, also this happens to me more often than you think, but for no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, I just DIE OUT OF NOWHERE! I could be running and I just die, I could go through a door and I die. Maybe it's just me... I don't know. This is an issue for many people, and I must say, I agree with them. Missions can get hella repetitive, I know I mentioned that the different missions provide variety, but most missions consists of these 3 things: ''Go get this thing for me." "Go deliver this thing to this person/save this person.'' ''Go to some very distant place to do something.'' There are some missions that are unique, but most missions in the game has that same 3 play styles.

Overall: Personally, I love this game, maybe because I have been playing it since I was 12, perhaps it's because the game is genuinely good, personally, I don't know. I'd say $20 is somewhat worth it, but if you're skeptical, I recommend just waiting till it goes on sale.
