Pros:
* Graphics that, although not perfect in some places, effectively convey the atmosphere.
* The number of animals in each location is just enough to maintain interest.
* Gameplay variability: you can either run around the locations looking for game or choose a spot and set up a blind.
* Variety of locations, but they are presented in DLC.

Cons:
* Bugs, some of which, according to messages on the official Discord server, have gone unfixed for years. They are not critical, but they do detract from the experience.
* Character progression is somewhat strange; some skills and perks are outright useless, while others are designed as active but should be passive.
* Quests consist of simple tasks like "kill 5 ducks with a pistol from 10 meters away." I'm exaggerating, of course, but the developers didn't put much effort into the quests; characters don't evoke any emotions and are forgettable. In this regard, Way of the Hunter is much better. This point is based on impressions of quests in Layton Lake, and other maps might be better, but I'm skeptical.
* All weapons in the game are made in the likeness of real-life guns; no licenses were obtained.
* The inventory interface raises a lot of questions.
* The help section needs more information about animals and weapons. I would like to be able to hear their calls and see their anatomy, check ammo ballistics, etc.
* All wildlife in the location appears at a distance of 400 meters, which is unrealistic. Yes, there are mods to increase this distance, but stability issues may arise.
* Working with the scope is only represented by the ability to set the range in 3 graduations, for example, 75/150/300 for rifles.
