Genuinely loving this game so far. I enjoyed the first game, and this is even better, controls feel nice, graphically beautiful, and have only ran into a couple of bugs since launch (which is rare nowadays lol). All-in-all, VERY good game off of launch, which is more credit than I can give to most games in this day and age. For the Emperor.

Upon playing this game after release, I have experienced countless bugs and an unthinkable amount of bots during my playtime. This seems to be a serious issue that the dev's should take into account very seriously. As players, it's our job to spread democracy in the only way we know how... squash those bugs and spill those bot's oil. FOR DEMOCRACY!!!

I will say this, the game is good. From my time playing it, it was enjoyable, it was fun to play around with friends on, the gameplay was exciting, and it had a steady feel to it... However, I myself haven't played the game again since the Sony Empire attempted to take over the galaxy in this game. I know that we fought them off and they no longer are trying to force their tyranny over the galaxy, but I still just have no desire to attempt to play the game again. I don't want to support the company that tried to enforce such backhanded and grimy tactics to boos their playerbase numbers.

TL;DR- I recommend and support the Helldivers 2 as a game, but I do NOT support or condone the actions that Sony took regarding the forced creation of PSN accounts for PC players to boost their annual quota of "PSN players". Game is good, give it a shot, it's fun, but I personally have no desire to touch this game again because of Sony's actions.

Have you ever looked for a small indie game that is capable of smacking the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of any AAA game titles released within the same year? Look no further...

Oh 15 degree yellow nozzle, my beloved...

This game has had its up's and downs, but the recent changes made in the latest update (currently 8/2/2024 today) have improved the game tremendously. The store prices have decreased a little (still not as much as I'd like, but it helps), the Exchange which was added before gives players a way to earn things through playing the game rather than wallet warrioring your way through getting armor from the premium shop, and then in this update the Exchange system and spartan points were even more updated by allowing constant earnability of in-game currency (which should've been in the game from the get-go, but hey, we take what we can get) that can be used in the Exchange, as well as a decrease in the pricing of some Exchange items as well. Overall, in the current state of the game, it is definitely worth giving a shot since the multiplayer is free-to-play, and now you are able to earn cosmetics fairly through just playing the game, rather than cracking out the checkbook for every armor piece. Whether you are a new player or a returning player, I'd try picking it up again.

I have to say, I'm thoroughly enjoying this game. At least to me, this is one of those types of games where you can just kick back and relax and enjoy a game without sweating super hard, while still feeling like you're playing competitively. I feel that this is the perfect mix of casual and competitive play style, and I love how the game makes you grind for the things you want, while also not making the grind unbearable or lengthy. From messing around with the suit customization, to having dumb fun aimlessly fighting dinosaurs, to getting competitive in what feels like a balanced PVP mode, this game by far is one of my favorites to date!
