The Good:
- Gameplay: Great
- Classes and abilities: very good and entertaining

The neutral:
- Gear (Weapons and armor): Overral nice designs with some strong equipment but most of the pieces you will get are just salvage to get upgrade materials
- Quests: Planets have the same repetitive quests in the form of bounties

The Bad:
- Story: If you're a new player the story will feel very confusing after the initial story quest as there is no proper linear progress, you can start any of the other dlc quests in w/e order you feel like and you can no longer access any content from be before Beyond Light
- Monetization: Predatory and getting worse as time passes
- FOMO: Season passes include content that you can no longer access once they end(quests, gear, etc)

I can't in good conscience recomend this game, this was probably a great game at some point in the past but it's a shame to see what it's become now.

Edit (28/11/2024): They are keeping the countries banned and still have ideas to throw PSN at us sometime down the line.
This review stays negative until Sony backs down and unblocks the (roughly) 180 countries that they blocked. We no longer need PSN as per their tweet so why do these countries need to stay blocked from playing?

Game and devs are great, Sony is not.

I was pirate hunting with a friend of mine while listening to shreksophone, once we finished clearing the area of pirates I noticed my friend wasn't there anymore. I killed him along with the pirates....

11/10 Would kill my friend to the sweet sound of shreksophone again!
