Early Access Review
If you miss games like Initial D, Wangan Midnight Tune, NFS Underground, Midnight Club and of course TXR. I wouldn't sleep on this. It does a real good job of fulfilling the idea of being a street racer. I don't want to slow down to 60KPH to take a hairpin turn. I want to drift through that ♥♥♥♥♥ at 200!

Being in early access does have a few draw backs. For starters I hope you don't want to drive a GT-R, Z, RX-7 or any other car you probably think about when you think Japanese street racers. Sides the AE86. Cause you have to beat the last boss (as of now.) to unlock them. You won't even have enough money to unlock one of the prebuilt "Rivals" cars till after the final boss as well. Your wallet literally just isn't big enough to hold that much cash till you upgrade it. From the skills that you can unlock after beating her.
I would also like to see more incremental upgrades to cars. Upgrades unlock in tiers 1-4. The tiers unlock through certain milestones. I.E. Go win against these people. Each part type (engine, exhaust, brakes, ect) is a separate skill unlock. Though I was always drowning in enough skill points and cash by the next tier unlock to unlock everything. So most of the game goes like this: Upgrade car to the highest tier you can. Absolutely DESTROY 3/4ths of your opponents. Get taken to Gapplebees like you're standing still by the 3 or 4 people left. Till you get lucky and they run into a car or something. Cause you can't make your car any faster than it is. Till you beat them and get that next tier unlock. You meet a "Legendary Tuner" and all he does is give you a temporary speed boost for the night. It would be cool if every team you beat would give you the chance to unlock a tier of part. He could be like, "Hey I just got this part in for your car." I also don't fancy myself a mechanic. So it would be cool if you could talk to him to get advice on how to turn your car. "Oh, try using a 1.5 or 2 way LSD. Try out this gear ratio. Try this suspension set up. Ect." Cause something as simple as hitting the different LSD buttons. Not even changing any of the sliders in the Tune menu. Can make a HUGE difference. I just wanna make the car go BRRRRRRR. Not bust out the TI-83 to figure out gear ratios. TBF you don't ever NEED to change anything to win, but there's still this small thing in the back of my mind that says, "Hey, if you knew what you were doing. You could be faster."

First of all let me say that the writing for SAO has never been great. But this is on a whole new level. From the start game reads like a fanfic. Within ten mins you will: make a custom chara, "log on" and get the only super rare item that makes you a interest to Kirito. Everyone, even the bad guys, are up your ass. But in a kinda para social way. Like the only reason they are hanging out with you is cause they need your item to get into the super special awesome tournament. If you didn't have it they wouldn't of gave you the time of day. The game play is mind numbingly boring, and the whole game controls like an idiot.

I like it, but I have a hard time recommending it to... anyone really. It did make me feel things, but none of them were good. Most of the endings have you killing yourself, dying or imprisoned. Even in the "good endings" the MC is such a ♥♥♥♥ it makes me wish she'd killed herself. If you have a perfect mental state, feel like you're riding too high, and want to be taken down a peg. Then maybe?
But hey it's fully voice acted (even if a few of the characters sound the same) and how many Indie VNs have that? Even the the one that had the Game Grumps in it could only muster grunts and sounds. At least it has a decent story, and made me feel something. Unlike most of the other indie dreck on Steam. And finally I get more Lyle Rath, always a big plus.

It pains me to say this, but take a pass on NGS. Even base PSO2 was a micro transaction, loot box laden ♥♥♥♥ show. But at least it had years of content that was unreleased. NGS feels like a small world made for the pure reason to re-sell you cosmetics. Yes you can play PSO2 and then go into NGS with the same chara, but the old chara style and new stuff aren't compatible, and vice versa. You want that cool old under? Hope you don't want to use it with a new top, or just like the way new body style looks. OR just hope they re-release it in another loot box scratch card. All of this is horrible cause the core game play loop is really fun.

Some of this might of changed to patches. I played at launch.
So if you've never looked into Cyberpunk, never heard about what it was supposed to be or how much of a disappointment it was. Then it's worth picking up. I spent 136hr playing it and don't feel like I completely wasted my time. Just let down.
But if you have any idea about what was supposed to be. Then your entire play through will be plagued with "Oh I guess that's just not in here." We were promised the world and got a functional, but buggy sandbox. The character creator was supposed to be something like CodeVein but we got Skyrim. Stuff like the laser wire not functioning like it showed in previews. Items like the laser katana or Max Tac uniform being in game but having no way to actually get them, unless you mod them in. The story being cut down so Keanu had a way bigger part in it. No amount of patches and bug fixes will change what it was supposed to be.

This game is a buggy mess but it's fun as hell. It crashes every other game for me, or will freeze in the middle of the match. Then it bans you for leaving matches! ♥♥♥♥ this, fix your stupid game.

This game is great I've played it for over 1300hrs. At the start it's worth looking up a vid on all the mechanics, cause other wise it's a bit like ramming your head against a brick wall. But everyone i've played with once they get past the Second Dream quest is like "This game is free?! I've played worse AAA games, and this is free?!" and they are hooked. If you're looking for a game to really sink your teeth into you've found it. I'm still finding new ways to play be it with a new Frame/ build or weapon. You can spend money on it if you really want to, but it's not really needed. Because it's so good, i don't feel bad about it or like I had to spend it. It feels like rewarding the devs for making something cool. I could go on for several paragraphs but i'll digress.

I backed this game like 3-4 yrs ago and it's been nothing but a let down. And that really hurts to say cause it sounded like a cool idea. Total waste of money. Even now at best it's a "okay-isk" 3rd person zombie brawler. At worst It's a bland buggy mess where you fall through the floor in the starting "how to play" level. The one place you'd think they would have spent some time in it cause it's the first thing you see! Even though it's all the same level. Graphics options are laughable.
I'd only recommend it if you're going to buy it for a young kid, who doesn't know any better. Other wise wait or find a code for Fortnite. If you are looking for a good game where you fight zombies.

Devs please take note this game is how you do PC ports. Great controler and keybord support, and the price is spot on. Just cause it's new to Steam does not mean you get to charge the price it is when it came out on the the console.

As far as the games goes it's pretty good. Box standard Persona esque dungeon crawer. The storys meh but the interactions with the charas make it pretty good. To the point that I find myself kinda dreading the actual game play dungeon crawing part because I want to have more interactions with the charas. If you're looking for something to hold you over till Persona 5 comes out then this probaly will do the trick.
