A quick-to jump into game that works well for local Co-op or steam remote play. Embrace your inner gremlin.

Early Access Review
CEO of Solirax only sees this game as a cash-cow for cryptocurrency. Absolutely halted progress on it a year ago, and it is dead in the water now. Look elsewhere for a decent VR Creative game.

Where to begin with this.....

I just completed the game, and I can say, it takes a lot to move me emotionally with games. Moon Studios has now done that twice with me. Twice have they brought me to tears with a video game, two games in fact. Words cannot describe just how pleased I am with the games they make, and just how much I look forward to anything they plan on releasing in the future.

So WotW builds on the platformer-heavy first game with a smooth vein of combat, and it works really well. You can use enemies to help get across treacherous terrain, in fact it is encouraged in some areas, and most of the abilities you use double as ways to damage and defeat enemies.
The world of the game feels very fleshed out, and it immerses you in it with how everything moves with and against you. Ori, despite being a small spirit, does have weight, and it shows on objects. As well, the world will change as you progress, with the only part of things feeling easier being spike damage (early area spike damage will always be less than later areas').
If anything, I absolutely recommend buying this at full price, as the cost is fully justified. I'd even say that 30 USD is too cheap for this, as Moon went all out with this.

So I backed this game back in 2012, back when the game was essentially Nitronic Rush 2.0. Since then, I have been part of the community for the game as it developed, albeit slowly, and since the developers have met every single one of the goals that they set on their Kickstarter. Every. Single. One. And they more than just delivered, Refract blew us away with the sheer quality of the game, all the way up to 1.0. Now this game certainly hits a niche slot in racing, where you are -not- meant to drift or slide, but instead stay gripped to the track and walls when you can, and fly or float when not just to get that last couple .03 seconds quicker. This game has a very strong community behind it and I am pleased to say that this is certainly my favourite game of all time.

As a commander with 1000+ hours into the game, I think I can give my own fair opinion on this game. Starting off, Elite Dangerous is a game that, from the get-go, is much better with Horizons. I had the Expansion from the beginning and it has helped with my whole Elite experience. Now, not every type of task in the game is for everyone. I'm the kind of guy that generally likes to stay Lawful neutral, depending on the type of system. When starting out, you begin in one of the simple ships, The Sidewinder (which I jokingly call the Freewinder or Scrapwinder due to its dirt-cheap costs.). From here you can work your way through any of the three main areas of the game: Exploration, Combat, and Trading. I personally enjoy Exploration in the game the most so far, with mining and combat following it. I'm not the biggest fan of combat with large ships and shields (even more so after the shield meta nerf), so I usually stick to medium to small landing pad ships. So I have to say that the pros of the game thus far are: the atmosphere of the game is very well done, with a great deal of effort put into the sound design and environments; the feeling of accomplishment after you reach a personal goal within the game is very much so present. As for cons: The game has a bit of a grind to it to get anywhere, especially when starting anew. This will be changed and updated as soon as the new content in 2.4 gets released. I do have to add that most of the negative reviews about the game are based on older updates, as the game will only get better and better from here.
