My playtime on this game is severely under-represented as I have played most of it with a modding application that isn't linked through steam.

This game is fantastic from any perspective, let alone being developed entirely by a single person. The developer and myself both enjoyed Harvest Moon games and sorely wanted a PC port, and he delivered with perfect execution!

I was not a part of the community that followed progress of this game; I didn't know it existed until release when a roommate told me about it. For that, I am glad, as the anticipation of waiting several years would have killed me and dulled the excitement of a fresh HM-like game.

10/10 Would nostalgia again

Having played Sim City games since the 90's, I find this to be a beautiful breath of fresh air.

Compared to my SimCity experiences, the MAJOR PLUSSES are:

-Roads are the primary construction, not zones. Organic bending streets reign over the poopty grid.
-No "Advisors": All needs are displayed via the Tweeter panel, or as speech bubbles on your buildings.
-Simple finance, tax, and loan modification panels.
-MODS. Whatever you need, it's there.
-Aesthetic. It's wonderful.

The bad (All mod related):
-Load times when over-modded (Is this even at all controllable by the developer?)
-All mods count as "cheating" and disable achievements.

Explored instead of following mysterious orc.

Picked up a barrel thinking i would loot it, and killed myself putting it down.

10/10 would physics engine again.
