Its pretty and has potential, but it did not scratch the tower defense itch for me at all. I found it to be too micro heavy for my tastes, when it comes to TD style games I prefer a set and forget style. Constantly relocating troops in/out of buildings got old fast coupled with controls that felt like they were made for a mobile device.

My complaints with the game are mostly nitpicky things that Ive come to expect out of RTS style games which this feel like more then it does a TD game. Wish there was a neutral option, but because there isnt it gets a nope from me. Might revisit in the future during a sale and after updates.

-No overlap allowed with power stations, this was probably my biggest complaint.

YES! More tools of murder and mayhem! Still no giant claymore style sword but ill take more weapons all day anyday lol.

So far i think its a pretty cool game, but like others have said very limited song selection.

Its not Supreme Commander, odly enough it feels more like Sins of a Solar Empire on the ground. Ashes isnt a bad game by any means just dont expect it to be the new Sup Com.

Ok got nearly 20 hours into the game now, and like most who play these games ive modded the hell outta it. With almost 100 mods going and several ini tweaks this game is stunning in VR. Yes menus suck and I would punch a baby in the face if that would allow me to rebind a couple buttons, but other then that I cant complain about what is imo THE BEST VR GAME.

Pros
+Its skyrim in VR
+Easily playable standing or SITTING (seriously happy I can sit and play)
+Dual casting magic is the shiz (your a wizzard Harry!)
+New bow mechanics are fun after you turn on realistic bow aiming
+A truly immersive and beautiful world
+Punched Lydia in the face (tell me again how you feel about carrying my burdens!)
+Punched a dragon in the face (then was promptly roasted)

Cons
-Menus are a pain to navigate with the vive wands
-Cant rebind buttons far as I know
-No current support from SKSE64 and most likely never will be :(
-Loss of social life

It was a fun little adventure, would love to see more of this tower defence/action combat style of gameplay.

Changing my review to negative because they are now calling this a demo instead of an early buy in.
Demo's are supposed to be free.

Absolutely fantastic fighting game.
Physics based combat makes for some intence and just outright silly fights.
Graphics and art style are fun and very very bloody.

10/10 would take out a lamp with a controller again.

This is just fantastic in VR, wish I could use my vive controllers but my 360 controller works great.

Pros
+Head tracking weapons allow for some really cool combat encounters
+Very very pretty in VR
+Tight controls
+Varried ships with different cockpits
+Simple ship upgrade mechanic thats well balanced

Cons
-Small player base (ai used to fill match slots so thats cool)
-I really wish I could use motion controllers to play with stuff in the cockpit
-Ship skins and decals are fun but you honestly cant tell what ship your even
fighting let alone see a decal on it
-No campaign
-Im greedy and want more ships

4/5 can see many more hours being logged
