This game is Fun. Fullstop. It's got a fantastic online community and such a variation of games, that there is always a new dynamic, always a new angle to play at. There's something for everyone in DiRT3, especially once you get online.

How many other olllld games can boast a still thriving online community? Where n00bs and pros can still rub shoulders and enjoy the game for what it is? few and far between...

LIKES: great online community, lots of different games within the one package, easy to get competent at, yet still challenging to master. Great graphics for a 4 year old game!! simply superb and it DOESNT need a high end card to run ULTRA settings!! (running a 6870 on an AMD phenom X2 here...lol). I've probably played over 500 hours in this game and I still LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! :) not many games can carry that level of enthusiasm with the player...

DISLIKES: Campers...there's always a muppet who decides that parking is preferable to driving...but that's life...

If you want fun, good people to play with, and a way to get good driving skills reasonably quickly, then DiRT3 is for you!!

As a gravel driver I have been looking for a more sim based rallying game. Until now there has really only been one outdated (but good) game to play. Dirt Rally however is everything I wanted and more.

LIKES: Great realism, the best sound in any racing game EVER!!, fantastic graphics, good tuning options, A REAL CHALLENGE of a game...not something you will master in 5 minutes ;)

DISLIKES: None really, its a fantastic sim racer, with more and more features coming on board...see the timeline :)

Some people may be expecting more of a DiRT3 (arcade) experience, this game is not like that, but a reality-based simulator. Be prepared to spend time driving the cars and understanding how the cars move, and what to adjust.

Yes there is online content, in the form of daily/weekly/monthly race events where you compete against other drivers from around the world (but only on a time basis - there are no ghost cars just like real rallying!)
