Insanely good for a F2P

I love Payday. I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of PD2 and wish I could convince other to play it again, but holy ♥♥♥♥ did they ♥♥♥♥ up PD3.

What's good? Graphics are awesome, there's lil neat animations for pretty much anything, the guns looks somewhat detailed. and visually the game is very appealing. Stealth seems pretty neat, for the most part.

What's so horrible about it then?

Two major things:
1. Progression. I feel like they made 6 guns, including sidearms. I have quite a bit of money that I can do nothing with. I have to level up a weapon I don't enjoy using before making it usable by unlocking accessories for it. There is probably more weapons, but they are all level locked. Effectively limiting me to a handful of weapons instead. On top of that they are heavily emphasising on premium currency as that is the only way to buy some weapons and some cosmetics. You can buy the premium stuff with in-game currency, but it's a drop at a time. The game feels soulless. Especially because of the progression. The skills aren't much better either, very bland and pretty much ignorable.

2. Loud gameplay. It ♥♥♥♥♥♥' sucks. What was once so fun in PD2; fighting elaborate loud heists where you fight against all odds, is now bland, boring and not fun.
Armour, at start you have one or two bars, when it's gone, it's gone. No regen. Unless you have an armour bag. Enemies drop stuff to regen armour UNLESS YOUR ARMOUR IS BROKEN.
Health? no regen either. You just get worndown and will have to die eventually. Health not regening I get. Armour tho? Takes away the whole point of loud heists. And the worst part for me is how the enemies drop those little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ armour regen things that don't work when the segment is broken and almost as if the devs knew it was a wrong move; they made a skill for being able to repair those broken segments from those pick-ups. It should be the base, waddayamean?
Ammo economy is ♥♥♥♥ and some enemies feel way too tanky.
Overkill weapons were a nice idea, but can now be effectively ignored because the first one that you get (and have to keep for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ever because there is only three overkill weapons that are of course lvl locked behind a huge level requirement) kills yourself from ridiculous range as it's a GL that has an atrocious reload time as well.

I want to love this game so much. I bought a PD2 mask, a PD2 mug, and PD2 heist bag as I used to love the franchise but holy ♥♥♥♥ is it depressing to see this Frankenstein corporate slate of wasted potential :(

Really awesome game. Good sidescroller with a lot of stuff to explore and some good humour. It's a tough game, but I still like to play it when I want to kill some time.

This ain't it bro.

This right here is a game made by stockholders for absolutely nobody. It is exactly what is wrong with the gaming industry.

So, start up the game, and start to question yourself: Did I launch the right play? Is this Rainbow Six Siege? No it really is battlefield. Seems I can't catch a break form those god awful specialists or heroes or whatever that are now on my main menu... And that are now talking to me... On the main menu...

Well whatever, I'll try to give this game a go, let's launch into a game.

And yet again, I find myself in a different game entirely. Something not battlefield. Like a cheap dystopian skit, I am surrounded by an army of clones, all shouting at each other trying to show one another how they are the protagonist. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of a game lacks character. And I fully blame the specialists for it. Give us back JUST classes, not these specialpricks.

And don't get me started on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ battlepass. When you open the game you are instantly met with a pop up for the premium limited edition SUPER ULTRA battlepass. Now with penis enlargement.

You get a dia de los muertos type skin shoved in your face, one that really reminds you of carnival or something; fancy bright colours and not a strand of combat gear in sight.

♥♥♥♥ off battlefield, you blew it. You blew it big time.

It's everything I ever wanted of the sequel. Guts, humor, friendly fire and nukes. I love this game.

I want to recommend War Thunder, I really do, but the late tier repair costs and grind in general is just too much of a pain. This game really has potential, it looks pretty and the physics are awesome, but the company behind it is everything that's wrong with modern capitalism. They are way too greedy and could really do with learning from DRG.

Grindfest and microtransaction focused. The creators have no passion. Yes the game can be fun with friends, but the thruth is that the game's take on longevity is to just have you grind for ridiculously small amounts of money, with the potential solution of paying your hard earned IRL cash on the game that you've already spent quite some money on.

I would not recommend to get this game, because the game simply does not feel smooth when playing

The perfect game if you feel like mass genocide. the gore is brilliant, and the enemies feel more alive, as every captain has their own personality. would definitely recommend!
