Counter Strike: Global Offensive is by far my favourite first person shooter, this game was highly recommended to me by friends. My initial opinion of the franchise was that it was a crappier version of the Call of Duty franchise. However, after a few games of the competitive game mode I was hooked, the hardcore gamer in me came out, I've now gathered over 500 hours on the game and am no longer a noob. However, the game has it's downsides: RUSSIANS. If you've ever been trapped in a game full of Russian noobs, who don't understand English and are constantly screaming a-V-p when you purchase or pick up an AWP. I feel like that Valve should release a seperate version of Global Offensive just for Russians like how Vince Gilligan created another Breaking Bad for Columbians, this would benefit everyone. Overall, I love CS:GO and would recommend to the hardcore gamer and even casual gamers looking to make the transition from casual gaming to competitive gaming. Although, I wouldn't recommend the Counter Strike franchise to most casual gamers as instead I believe that the inferior Call of Duty franchise would be more appropriate.
