A delightful game with a seriously impressive physics simulation under the hood. We need more games using processing power this way!

Grueling. Rage inducing. Nauseating.

Honestly, this game is none of these things. If you buy *Getting Over It* expecting a platformer that mercilessly punishes you for every misstep, or whose controls will screw you over at every turn, you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The mountain is challenging, but surmountable. You may fall much of the way down, but you’ll get back up. The hammer is a surprisingly intuitive instrument. You will quickly learn its rules. Nevertheless this game is difficult, but, and I can not stress this enough, it is *incredibly rewarding.* Few games can rival the sense of accomplishment you get after mastering a portion of this game. Sections that took you hours at first will suddenly take seconds. Lastly, the narration for this game provides a genuinely encouraging companion for your ascent.

In summery, buy the game, even if you don’t think you’re part of the target audience.
