The positives:

It's a really fun game with lots of action and the graphics and music mix well. The robot guy is pretty entertaining to listen to.

The negatives:

The boss levels in this game are a hit or miss. You'll either defeat them in the first few tries, or end up dying 100 times.
Lava is present in many boss areas and you're going to die far more often because you didn't jump high enough instead of damage from the enemies, which can be frustrating when it happens for the 10th time.

Towards the middle of the game, battles start happening in small areas, and after defeating enemy waves, you can move to the next small area to defeat the next wave. I wish there was more running around and less standing still.

The story progression feels random and I suspect that it was mostly made up during the development of the game.
