I bought the original Scribblenauts back on the DS when it first came out. I've been with the series ever since. Granted, it's more because I grew up with it than anything. After all these games are designed with children in mind as the main product focus. So, please keep that in mind.

It's been a gradual change ever since the initial title. More items in one title, adding adjectives in the next one, etc. Each game feels like a natural progression in the series. However I wouldn't call this a progression, more of a... fun expansion type of experience.

If you've played Scribblenauts Unlimited then you're in for a similar experience here. This time around though there's a DC Comics theme you can mess around with. This is where the expansion aspect comes in, as instead of adding new words from real life; we've got a whole new universe worth of objects to mess with.

From the Batmobile to Krypto the Superdog, almost everything from the DC Universe is here at your disposal.

If you're a comic book fan like myself you'll love this sort of thing!

It's not without its faults though. There are few bugs regarding progression and challenges, sometimes you're unable to complete certain challenges for one reason or another. Though, it's not entirely game-breaking from what I've experienced.

Overall? I'd get it.

Rushed.

That's the only way to put it.

Mother of God, this is the shortest DLC of the bunch and it shows. All of the sidequests are literal "sit here and listen to Krieg and his sane self talk for a few seconds" and then move on.

You can finish this DLC in a matter of 2-3 hours, that's if you're not bothering with collecting everything 100%.

The story is nothing special, it's... just fan service. That's all this DLC is, fan service. People wanted Krieg and they got him. This is coming from someone who's poured over 230+ hours in BL2 with most of those being as Krieg. If you have the Season Pass? Just play it. If you're a newbie looking to get in on some Krieg action? Unless you're DESPERATE for more Krieg? Sure, waste $15. If not? There are other and far better DLCs and games you can get $15.

Beyond disappointed. Skip this.
