S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl is an incredibly atmospheric game with a pretty deep story, interesting creatures, locations and secrets to discover.

Even after so many years S.T.A.L.K.E.R. excels at being both a first-person shooter as well as an amazing survivor-horror game. Just imagine Silent Hill + DayZ + some other military shooter, make it 10 times better and then you have this masterpiece here.

Since the start of this year (2025) I became a huge S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan, by reading Roadside Picnic first, then watching the movie and finally playing the games. I can't fully express how lived-in the world feels, how satisfying it is coming out of the zone not only in one piece, but with pockets full of artifacts, too, and how captivating the whole lore of everything is.

As a game, which came out in 2007, it s quite remarkable how good the AI is - you actually feel the pressure of being cornered between two walls in a gunfight, because you know the only option is to move forward, since standing in one place is a death sentence.

I also truly love how chill the stalkers are - fighting disgusting monstrosities, traversing through dampy, irradiated garbage pens, meeting eye to eye with death and when they finally escape the nightmare they have voluntarily put themselves through, they just sit down and eat salami, while playing the guitar.

The meme potential is also huge - you can make your playthrough as serious as you wish, but at the end of the day, you would still be hearing "Cheeki Breeki" around every corner, which will inevitably make you crack a smile.

Possibly one of my most favorite games ever. 10/10 in my book.

In Typing of The Dead you have:

- Gore;
- Hot chicks with big tits;
- Incredible writing, where every second sentence contains a curse word for no reason;
- Jokes about disabilities, race and other funny topics;

If you enjoy this game, you are an Unfathomably Based Giga Chad.

Haha, I like it when I blow a Super Mutant's brains out.

For real, though, the game is quite fun - you have a lot of quests to do, stories to unravel, weapons to collect and tons of amazing customization options (especially, when building your C.A.M.P., which as an aspect I truly enjoy).

I won't lie, mostly everything is designed in a way to either steal your money or consume your time, but even if you don't go overboard with any of that, you can still have a great time.

I don't support this greedy style of monetizing basically everything in a video game, but as a fan of the Fallout universe, I've had a lot of fun with Fallout 76.

I was first introduced to the Deathspank franchise a very, very long time ago (maybe back in 2010-11), while I was scrolling through a torrent tracker and searching for new games to play. As I was looking through the images of the different pages, I was browsing, I stumbled upon a very funnily looking guy, who reminded me a lot of the characters I used to draw for fun back then (I was around 12 years old at the time). You guessed it, it was Deathspank. From this moment on, I was hooked. The game reminded me a lot of Diablo 2 and Torchlight, which I played plenty of at the time, but this one here was way easier to pick up and honestly, the whole mood, atmosphere and wittines were very much to my liking.

Now for the review itself. DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue is an amazing sequel to the first game. It has great humour and soundtrack, as well as super fun gameplay. A lot of items with unique-ish powers and combos to discover.

What I enjoyed the most this time around was reading the flavor text of every single item, as they are hilarious and very well-thought.

The dialogue is witty, enganging and it shows how much effort it has been put into it to make it so. The voice acting is absolutely flawless.

And finally, I love the artstyle. To be completely fair, this is probably THE best artstyle I have in any game, but still that's just a personal opinion.

Overall, the Deathspank series is definitely one my all-time favorite series. If you haven't tried the games already, I strongly recommend you to do so. They are great to play solo, as well as couch co-op. So if you have a buddy around, be sure to invite them, too.

There was only pain...

It's exactly what the title promised, so 10/10

As it is the case with many other people, Blade of Darkness brings a lot of good memories from my childhood back to me. However, at the time I didn't understand the game too well, since I was just a child. I remember my cousin explaining to me how to do combos, but after I tried to do them a couple of times, I would just proceed to spam-click the left button. Now, after so many years I finally picked the game up again and, oh, boy, did I have a blast playing through it and beating it at the end! I would say the bosses are quite a challenge, but once you get the hang of the combat, you will have no problem with butchering them. All of the classes are unique and fun to play around with. At first the weapons seem basic, but each and every one of them has its strenghts and weaknesses, depending on the character that's wielding it. Besides the base damage and defense the weapons and shields have, there are a lot of other different "hidden" stats like range, speed, hitbox radius and so on. And there are so many different places, secret rooms and hidden areas, containing all sorts of goods - food, potions and the best of all - special weapons with unique powers and moves you can perform with them! The enemies have patterns and at first they are a bit difficult to follow, but around the mid-game you are bound to be hacking and slashing body bits left and right. There is nothing more satisfying than dismembering Orcs and leaving their remains in a puddle of blood!
