35 Hours played
SPOILER FREE

Been playing this pretty much 30 hours straight, no sleep. I feel sick and I feel like this day would never end... in a good way. Now before I get my well deserved rest I felt like speaking my mind on how I felt about the game, such as the pros and cons.

First and foremost dont give up on the game too early!
I have seen plenty of people being mad about stuff happening or "not happening" in the game. The tutorial is one days loop worth = 5-8 hours when doing it the first time, exploring and snooping around. Through out those hours there is OVERWHELMINGLY alot to read and learn to the point that most might close the game since it can be quite exhausting. My first thoughts of the game after my first loop was "Meh, quite fun but not over the moon about it". However I kept going and started exploring and doing things more "my way" and oh boy was that fun. Plenty to learn at the start of the game but it serves you well in the long-run.

Some things that I didn't really know at first which I found out as I played was that the game has a lingier storyline. You are supposed to kill all visionaries in a specific way, in a specific order according to your "todo list". Some files and voicemails etc are required to proceed. And if you want to "finish the game" you have to kill everyone in the specific order. However if you just wanna have fun killing the visionaries in different ways you absolutely can, but this will require another days loop since finishing the game is not possible that way.

A big minus but also kind of a plus is the multiplayer. Boy was I disappointed. Everyone knows you can play as Julianna and try to stop other players to finish thier loop. Sounds like fun? Well, it ain't. Unbalanced beyond belief, alot of being sent back to main menu and waiting in loading screens. You as the Hunter are supposed to kill Colt (The loop-breaker.) which has 3 lives. You as hunter only has one. If you die as hunter only once... welcome back to the main menu. Matchmaking takes 1-5 minutes to find a game (EVEN ON RELEASE). You as the hunter has no valueable perks either, you dont even know what the objective of Colt is... you are just sent into the map with objective "Kill Colt". (Three times in a row without dying). I don't see how you are supposed to win as hunter if Colt-Player is even remotely decent at the game. You as Hunter always spawn in the same place on the maps which also sucks since the colt player can predict your movement way better than you even though you are supposed to be the hunter. As Colt, all you have to do is "Become the hunter" for about 5 minutes, kill you and then go on with thier day. Simple as that. Not fun, not one bit.

The multiplayer mode doesn't serve the story any good either. If something it ruins it a bit. Objective "Kill all visionaries to stop the loop". Okey, simple enough. Julianna (The hunter) is one of them. However killing a player Julianna doesn't count as killing one of the visionaries. According to the story Julianna never actively tries to stop you while you are running your adventures. Turning the game "Offline" will not spawn "NPC Julianna" trying to stop you. The story and overall fun of the game is what kept me playing, the online part was simply only annoying. I would recommend being online for a couple of loops and when it gets annoying just go offline. After the game has ended, I can see Online favoring the game a bit more. That is what will keep you playing after being done with the story.

Performance of the game is another topic to consider before buying. I play in 4K without RT on my 3080 GPU, and a quite old CPU (I7 7700K) and has about 50-80 FPS. (All settings maxed out except RT). For a First Person Shooter that is not very good but not bad either. However that is with a graphicscard you barely can get your hands on. Same issue but 10 times worse happend with Dishonored 2 at release but got fixed with future updates. I see the same thing happening here, just give it some time.

Overall, Visuals are great, Audio is close to superb, had 2 crashes (although I have heating issues with my PC so could be my pc's fault and not the game.) and a few minor bugs, nothing bad. However one bug was kinda bad since one item fell under the map when the door close on it (a key item aswell).

The way the game was marketed with online excetera made me somewhat disapointed. Apart from that I had alot of fun and the story was way better than anticipated. After the finish of the game I found myself wanting more. I will continue to try and get achievements and learn to dominate as hunter. Scoring the game I would say 8.5/10. Very entertaining and wish I could do it all over again... oh wait I can.

Dragon age so it was called when the project took place back in 2002. Bioware started develope it and David Gaider wrote the amazing story. E3 2004 had the first release of a trailer for the game that was name Dragon age without the Origins part. The game took an additional 5 years to complete and in November 2009 it was released. You the player can be three different species, Human, Elf or Dwarf, no matter what you pick you will end up as a Grey Warden. A sworn protector from the Blight. A blight is a time when the Darkspawn get together to create a horde that has an Archdemon that will take over the world. This is the fifth blight and the Grey wardens prepare to fight as usual. However this time there is a war going on between humans and instead of preparing for the blight, they try to take advantage of it and sieze the throne after a tragic defeat that takes place. Many grey wardens die in the battle and you as the player fight for Ferelden and tries to get all species to work together and stop this incoming blight and keep order between everyone. It is your time to become the 'Hero of Ferelden'. There exist and followup on this game Dragon age 2 where you can transport your save from this game to the second one and your decisions will matter. Even the game of the year Dragon Age Inquisition is a followup on those two games, where the decisions matter ofc. This is a must play. One of the absolute best storytelling games you possibly can find. I'd give this game 97/100.

Pros
- Best Story-Telling game on the market, hands down.
- Beautiful graphics (For being a game from 2009)
- Combat is very strategic and fun.
- Voice actors on point.
- The conversations in this game is very funny and they curse alot
- About 50 hours of story-missions and about 100+ in sidemissions.

There is not many cons at all about this game but I did not give it 100 for a reason.
Cons
- On the maxed out graphics and having windows 10 will cause graphic glitches and crashes. Put settings one step below maxed out.
- The homepage for the game and all service to it has been shut down.

As said before I cannot recommend this game enough. I have played the game 150+ hours and I am far from done. I have finished the game twice (Both as human) and now I am going for Elves and Dwarfs as well. After this I still have got alot of Dragon age 2 to go through for the hundred time and Inquisition as well ofc. Love it and has been a big fan for years. I'd say it is worth full price and I would also say that you HAVE to go for the ultimate edition so that you get all DLC's. It is such a big difference! A MUST PLAY GAME!
