I find all of the toxicity surrounding the Gender selection in the character creation menu to be a sad distraction from what truly matters in the game. It seems like people are grasping desperately for reasons to criticize new titles. Just play the game, have fun, and stop looking for minutia to craft into an argument.

Now that that's over with, let's talk gameplay.

Given that this is a Bethesda game, I was pleasantly surprised to find that major bugs were nowhere to be found. I did find several small ones, but nothing game-breaking, and nothing that a quick QOL update can't fix. The story isn't super exciting, but the progression is smooth and rewarding. The dialogue is decent and character AI is well-rounded, and thankfully, not at all annoying. The inventory and menu system is a little difficult to get used to, but once you get your head around it, it's intuitive enough. The same can be said for the spaceflight mechanics.

Where Starfield really shines is in its visuals.

Every texture is beautifully rendered at max graphics, down to the tiniest of details. Each book in every bookshelf at the Lodge has its own printed title and volume number. Being a Bethesda RPG, you can interact with pretty much everything and everyone. The amount of effort that was put into the visual design of the game is breathtaking.

Overall, I really enjoy Starfield. It's entertaining, immersive, and beautiful.

Even I, being an NC noob, love this game to death. I literally just started playing 2 weeks ago, and I'm already addicted. I honestly don't give a **** about all the VS vs NC vs whatever bs, the game is still fun as balls. Don't let anyone dissuade you. Install it. Have fun.

Amazing job revitalizing the classic series. Can't wait for the new additions to come out.
