Not only improves on what made the first game great, but also implements new elements and gets rid of bad ones. Not to mention... IT'S OPTIMIZED?!!! Seriously, this game is fantastic. Fans of classic psych/survival horror should not pass this up.

I wasn't expecting a (heavily) Left 4 Dead inspired wave-based survival coop game to be this good. The AI is clever and relentless, the melee feels nice and crunchy, the firearms are loud and powerful, and the characters are charming and lovable. That being said, this is a very unforgiving and difficult game. If you don't work as a team 100% of the time, the vermin can and will overwhelm you. So if you're looking for a tough but rewarding experience, then this is a very good title to have in your library. I very much enjoyed the time I've put into it so far and I look forward to the full game.

What a mysterious jogo

All of The Evil Within's "problems" are very, very easy to get used to. I started up the game and after I used Bethesda's fps fix with the console, it became natural to play and I instantly lost myself in the dingy, bloody horror goodness. Don't listen to the whiners complain about the little things, this game is worth every cent and definitely worth the wait.

I got it to start up and play but it runs atrociously. 20 fps on average during gameplay on medium settings, and it crashes the whole machine when I hit "quit game", forcing me to hard restart. Save your money on this until SOMEONE makes a patch.

Huge pile of ♥♥♥♥. Not worth the free download.

Bad title, great game. If you're looking for a deep, complex storyline with many plot twists and incredible character development, you will not get it from this game. However, it's the pinnacle of survival horror, and if you love zombies and/or the occult, you can't pass it up.
