Simply fantastic. Innovative ideas, fun gameplay, great graphics, good performance, this is what gaming in 2025 should be.

I cannot in good faith recommend this game to anyone besides hardcore MH fans that have a great PC setup. After playing other recent games I was baffled at how much graphic fidelity improved over the years, but in MH Wilds I cannot shake out the feeling that I'm missing something crucial to make the game look good. But there is nothing, for the most part it looks like a blurry mix of low and medium resolution textures in gray-ish tones while running very poorly as well. And just in case, I tried all of the most recommended solutions to avoid that, they help but do not fix the issue in full.

Updating DLSS to the newest transformer model and playing in HDR with Nvidia RTX HDR makes the game more enjoyable and some locations and cutscenes look very good, but for the most part I cannot comprehend how the game in 2025 could look like ps2 title with muddy colors most of the time and run badly as well.

The gameplay as usual is pretty fun, and I'm lucky to have the game run well by the power of money and good PC, but this kind of practice of game releases cannot be supported.

I cannot believe how good this game looks, it's worth buying even just to experience visuals alone and this is coming from someone who tried cyberpunk with best possible fidelity mods and path tracing.

That said, I was a fan of the original game due to how artistic it was in nature and how deeply passionate the developers and everyone included seemed judging from the quality of the game. This one so far is on the same or even higher level, it's an artistic masterpiece in terms of visuals, sounds and animations. And even though the combat is quite simple, it is probably one of the most engaging and cool looking combat I experienced in a while.

UPD after finishing the game:
I still cannot believe how good this game looks, it was a visual and emotional experience rollercoaster. I want to say so much but it would mean so little. There were a couple of moments that pulled me out of the immersion, but the overall experience is just something completely different and worth experiencing on your own at least once.

this game is AMAZING, more people should give it a chance. ESPECIALLY if you love the vampire-survivors style games

it's a very cute and charming game, you can easily feel how much devs cared about making this game with all the funny enemies and the heartwarming artstyle. It's kind of like a mix of isaac and classic rpgs, can definitely recommend if you want to try something new, artistic and home baked with love.
