EDIT: Still great, played DLC. Need more puzzles!

A great picross game with 280 puzzles to solve (plus some bonus ones). Has a fusion mechanic to unlock most of them (not that hard, the game gives you hints). Devs need to bring their other picross games to Steam. Plays excellently on the Steam Deck.

The amazing OBS Studio, now on Steam!

As a user who has over hundreds of hours (and over 600+ videos) with the standalone version of OBS (user since 2017), this is the program to get if you want to make content. It's free and it's easy. In fact, it's so easy that an idiot like me can use it. And if you have trouble, there is a great community that will help whatever issues you have.

For existing users: Speaking as one of those who were worried the switch from standalone to Steam was going to be complicated, it wasn't at all. All your settings are saved between both the standalone and the Steam version (except for some custom themes, but I managed to fix that within seconds), so no worries about having to reconfigure anything during the move. Personally, once I ran the Steam version and saw that all of my settings were intact, I just uninstalled the standalone version (which solved my custom theme issue for some reason).

And the real bonus is that once the Steam version is installed, you can still make run OBS without Steam! I just made a shortcut from the .exe located in the Steam installation folder. In fact Steam doesn't even track OBS being run if clicked from oustide of Steam.

I highly recommend OBS, especially over all the scummy half-baked products out there that waste your time, and more importantly, waste your money.

Once I saw who was developing this game, I knew it would be a insta-buy on day one of release.

For a very cheap price, you get a very detailed simulator that shows you how the locking mechanisms for most modern safes work, then teaches you how to break them. I highly recommend it for all of those who are interested in locksports and/or detailed simulator games.

Now if only someone out there could make a lockpicking game with the same attention to detail that this developer has put into this simulator, that would be a day one buy from me!

EDIT: Nominating this game for the "I Want A Badge So I'm just Going To Nominate A Random Game" award because I like badges and this game is also pretty good.

After 31 hours of gameplay, I finally finished all the puzzles!

Picross Touch is not perfect, but it's not a bad game. With a few changes it could have been better, but it gets the job done. Here are a few things I observed while playing the game:

- Some of the puzzles have multiple solutions, but those who have enough patience can see their mistakes and correct the errors. Still, it's not good to have puzzles that have multiple solutions, especially for the casual players who would probably just skip the puzzle(s) they can't solve.

- Some of the puzzle pixel art looks very amateurish in design. Not as polished as Nintendo's offerings that I have played to completion, such as Mario's Picross, Picross 2, Mario's Super Picross, Picross DS, and Picross 3D (I don't have a 3DS to access the eShop picross games). Most of the puzzle art looks like it belongs on the iOS app store.

Personally, I would ask the developer to work on a few things to polish the game (make sure there aren't multiple solution puzzles, fix up the art). One minor thing I would like to see is a quality-of-life feature like fading the number after filling partial cells and marking an empty space, instead of the usual fading all of the numbers after filling in the complete row. One major addition would be workshop support, as adding a level editor for user made levels would expand the game even further.

Hopefully, more picross/nonogram games appear on Steam, whether they are from this developer (or others), as picross/nonograms are my favorite logic puzzles to play with.
