On a more serious note, this game is a real grind but it gets progressively more fun the more hours put in because you become more overpowered and have easier access to different builds you can try. If you want to fall in love with this game, I recommend beating normal mode as fast as possible, then working towards getting ultimate bunny. Once you achieve those things, the rest of the game really opens up for you to explore.

Arrowhead Game Studios has proven themselves they are a step ahead of most.

For those in 2024 wondering why Helldivers has a "Mixed" review, it's because Sony was forcefully trying to get players to sign up for their account service after the game has been out for a few months. By doing so, this would fragment the playerbase, and anyone who purchased the game in non-supported Sony regions would not be able to play. Essentially, your money would go in the trash if you're in South East Asia, Middle East, or certain European countries.

Helldivers around the world decided to protest this move and review-bombed the game to "Mostly Negative". However, through everyone's coordinated efforts, we were able to get Sony to change their decision, and signing up for an account is only optional. Thus everyone should be able to play the game normally now again.

Aside from this history lesson, the game is incredibly fun and well worth your hard earned money.
