Great impression at the beginning - huge disappointment at the end.

The first thing that got me into the game was really nice graphics with depressing and gloomy enviroment, dark and mysterious main character, highly detailed background. Comic art style of cutscenes are also pleasing. All of those visual effects allow to feel the mood of postapocalyptic world.
Music and sound effects are also suitable. What I found a little bit annoying was voice acting - very unnatural and affected.
I can't complain about controls, they're pretty decent.
Then why negative review?
First of all - bugs. There were few moments in the game that after performing some action, character acted randomly. For example when you were jumping to the banner or fence, he was automatically rolling to the opposite side and hanging there or after moving to the edge, he was making a long jump. It was pretty annoying especially when it was causing constant deaths. Cutscenes were also problematic because second one and the ones after were always muted - it required restarting a game after every cutscene.
Second of all - plot. It started interesting, after a while got predictible and finally at the end left me with impression "What? And thats it?". Grand finale was anticlimactic and pompous, story ended suddenly, revealing the most obvious "mystery" on which the whole plot was built.
Game itself was very short and it didn't encourage me to go through it again and collect more achievements.

This game was the biggest pain in my butt. I couldn't log into Steam without being attacked with constant "Magicka today!" "Saturday, 10 o'clock, Magicka!" or "Achievements for Vietnam!" or "Today without dying on hard!" and so on. I couldn't sleep nor eat knowing that I have still few achievements left to earn and a friend overeager to get them all.
It was a pleasure to play scenario. This game has a brilliant plot, is extremally funny, filled with lots of references to movies, games, books, voice acting is a masterpiece. One of the best parts of gameplay are spells mechanics - there are 8 elements from which you can craft spells, some of them combined can make new elements, others can't be connected, enemies are resistant for ones and can be easily killed with others.
Player has decent amount of useful Magicks available and plenty of ways to kill himself and his friends. That's the pure beauty of Magicka - ruthless friendly fire.

It's hard to review this game as a sequel, because it's impossible to do it without comparison to the first Darksiders. When I try to compare it I think that first Darksiders is a better game overall but it doesn't make second one less enjoyable - Darksiders 2 is just different. Adding more RPG elements (for example leveling up, skill tree, picking up equipment) for me wasn't necessary but after all it expanded the game mechanics, allowing one to build ultimate weapons and skills set. The story is much longer, there are more riddles, more characters, more and much bigger locations - when you look at those giant castles, endless stairways, enormous doors you feel really tiny... Creators added some side quests which extends gameplay even more, not to mention MORE collectibles. This game is all about "bigger" and "more of everything".
Then why I think it's less than the first Darksiders? First of all the boss fights - what was one of the greatest strenghts of the first game was removed from the second. You don't have to find the right solution for specific boss, you just have to hit it on the legs until it falls. That was really disappointing change. Second of all I have mixed feelings about main character - I guess I just like epic proud War heavily stomping on the earth with massive sword wanting to prove his innocence more than agile sarcastic Death with his acrobatics somehow lacking the ability of double jump. But it's just my personal opinion. Those characters are completely different, kind of opposite to themselves but both memorable.
I deathinitely can't say that this game, with longer gameplay and bigger everything, gets boring. It gives dozens of hours of solid entertainment.

I think about this game as one of my favorite titles. It was recommended as similar to Legacy of Kain series of which I'm a huge fan. In my opinion Darksiders is worthy successor of LoK. It has all that is needed for a really good game - decent plot with some twists, memorable characters, voice acting ('Fresh merchandise' ;D), plenty of combos, abilities, well designed levels, riddles and really awesome boss fights. There are a lot of collectibles as well that makes gameplay even longer and more entertaining.

I just finished this game and I must say I enjoyed every hour I spent with it. Titan Quest gives pretty decent variety of monsters and beautiful in my opinion locations. You can develop your hero by choosing 2 out of 9 different masteries which have own unique skills. The game itself is very linear, you won't miss any side quest if you just reveal the whole map, there's no need to go back to the previous location, you'll never get lost. Even though the gameplay is simple I felt motivated to visit every cave and tomb, collect gold & equipment and kill every single monster on the map.
About difficulty: I played on normal mode and it was pretty hard to start (My character supposed to be mighty hero but he had to run away from a couple of boars. Really.), after choosing masteries it was easier but still challenging. At the end of the game difficulty level increased (Final boss defeated after approx. 60 health potions and few deaths).
The plot is simple (Go there, kill that guy, go somewhere else find that thing and kill the other guy...) but enjoyable. Graphics are really good, the game itself was very fun. The only thing that annoyed me was voice acting, very unnatural but you get used to it. Titan Quest is definitely worth playing.

I got this game from bundle and bought it just because I played it as a kid. To be honest I didn't even plan to play it again - just the game of my childhood, good to add to library. Shame on me! I installed it and started to remember why this game is SO GOOD. Well it is. Maybe now the graphic is not impressive but it's not bad either. This game has much more than that: great atmosphere, decent plot and nicely designed levels.

I really wanted to give this game positive review, I played it and kept saying '5 more minutes, maybe it'll get better soon'. Well it didn't.
Toki Tori (previous game) was the game I enjoyed playing, levels were interesting and difficult as hell, graphic was cute and pleasant. I thought Toki Tori 2+ will be similar and give me more hours of brain exercise. I feel quiet screwed because it's nothing like Toki Tori.

I don't recommend this game for people who expect puzzle game. Maybe if you have a children they might enjoy it.

After playing 8 hours I finally finished the game for the first time. It's pretty hard to complete if you can't find good set of items.
The Binding of Isaac is a game for people with sick sense of humor and patience. Defeat 7 sins, make deals with the devil, kill your own mother.
Personally I don't like roguelike games but this one is totally different. I clearly understand why it's so popular.

Game has one flaw: poor optimalization, even on Intel Quad core, GTX760 there are moments when it starts to work very sloooooow.

Really nice logic game with cute graphics. It's quite challenging.
As far as I see, most of negative reviews are written by people who played it no more than 5 minutes. They say: "too easy, good for kids". 5 minutes is enough to walk through 3 or 4 levels which are easy indeed (In my opinion too easy even for a tutorial) but when you finish basics, the real fun begins!
