good game

the online is broken due to how they do their stupid connection ♥♥♥♥.
when playing online, you suffer huuuge input delay. it is horrendous, probably about half a second to a second
also, you are desynced every 5 seconds, and instead of just handling the desync, the whiny ass crybaby of a lead dev decided to just stop the game if there is ever a desync.
speaking of nicalis, he's a piece of ♥♥♥♥. there's a reason edmund gave up on isaac and just gave it to nicalis.
a good example of this is the first isaac online beta. if you don't know what happened, essentially, it was a buggy mess (so they haven't changed anything), and it ran for a couple months. not sure exactly how long, it was like the end of summer 2023 to around febuary 2024? but then, the inevitable happened. some dumpers went through the games code (unbelievable!! people go through game code without permission? how unheard of!!!!!). i'm not entirely sure, but i think they might've said some spoilers about isaac in some private discord and it got out. this made nicalis reeeeal angry, and like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ baby he is, he shut down the beta/alpha for every single person, instead of just saying "that wasn't very nice, everybody please just ignore that and have fun playing the isaac beta!!"

I loved this game, the music was great, and you should totally check out the creators of the songs. The gameplay is amazing, and even though it doesn't look like much it is super fun.
