Early Access Review
What was once a talked about and anticipated game, has now become the memories of our past. We all thought Dayz would shape up to become one of the best zombie open world games. Dayz doesn't match to anything. State of Decay, Dying Light, and H1Z1 are just the few examples of games that are much better. Do not get this game.

Skyrim came out 4 years ago in 2011 and yet I still play it constantly. With skyrim there is no limit, especially on pc with mods. Skyrim is the game to get if you love medieval/fantasy games along with that gore and action that fills you with adrenaline. Skyrims only problems come with the quests and battles. Yes quests can be quite repetive at points, and the battles are very cheesy. But skyrims graphics and open world just fills you with awe. Skyrim is a game to get!

Stay of Decay is for many reasons a favorite. I love the way State of Decay works compared to other zombie games. Its open world, meaning you can do what you want. Unfortunately there are problems to State of Decay. The games open world is fairly dull, (the new expansion has a better open world), along with there's not too much you can do besides crushing zombies, looking for guns, or following the story. If only there were a multiplayer part to the game. Either way State of Decay provides fun for all, and maybe a little gore as well.

What used to be a fantastic game has recently been turned into garbage. Read on for more information.
When I first bought rust about a year ago I wasn't surprised by the amount of bugs the game had. It was Alpha and I expected this kind of thing. I was surprised by the fact that even though this game had bugs, (don't forget the hackers as well) this game was quite enjoyable. The main thing of the game is that your stuck on a huge island and you have to build a shelter and defeat other players to survive, along with going to 'rad towns' and getting supplies, (which let me tell you is not always easy when you have a ton of rad bears and wolves coming at you). The game gets pretty addicting and fulfilling especially when you get guns and start raiding other players. There was food and cold but you didn't have to drink water to survive and the game was pretty simple. The other players are the problem, and many of the reviews you read trash this game not because of the reasons I am about to tell you, but because they felt the game was too hard. Most of those reviews are written by players who've played 100 hours or less. Don't read those, they haven't played long enough. The real reason this game is terrible has nothing to do with the way the game is (or was, (read on), the real reason is because of the developers. See this game is probably better than most I have played, until about 6 months ago. See when I first bought the game a year ago this game was not updated until 6 months later, and the developers said that for six months they were developing a newer version, and better version, and that the old version was now called Legacy. Well for the next six months and up until now that newer version is no newer version at all. Legacy which was the older version that I loved and enjoyed has been torn into a buggy mess that has real updates once a month. Oh yes you will be told they update about once a week, but when you look at what they are updating every week you'll see the crap they are doing. You see all sorts of things like 'lets make this chicken have better textures' or 'look at this new bandage were designing'. Eventually about once a month they'll have an update that will 'fix a whole bunch of bugs and add many new things'. Those updates every month made the game worse, and eventually they started going somewhere when they added all these building updates. You could make all sorts of cool buildings, but then guess what the dev's told us they wanted us to explore and not build, they released a brand new update that limited our building. Then everyone started complaining and they told us 'were hobbyists'. These dev's know nothing of what they are doing, they release patches that ruin the game and they take away things we like to do, like building. Eventually this whole 'new version' which was released 6 months ago in replace of the legacy version was scrapped again! Now they have a Brand new version which was just released in January. The updates they are releasing seem way more promising than they did before, but seriously this game has been out for a year. A whole year it took to get a better version! Take a game like H1Z1, which was also just released in January. The game which is in Alpha right now when released had an enormous amount of bugs. The amount of bugs have now been reduced so much within a month that the game is very much playable and provides us with more 'items' in the game within a month than rust has added within a year. In fact Rust has not added really any 'new' items to the game at all. This new version is still being built up to the amount of the Legacy version. Either way Rust has been rebooted several times now and if I were them I would just scrap the whole thing and go back to the Legacy version and start updating that version again. This game used to be a hell of a game, and now all we have to look forward too is another version of 'chicken textures updates'. H1Z1 looks like a much more promising game as the devs are responding to us much faster than the devs of Rust. If I were you i'd save your money on Rust but dont forget about Rust. This game is still in Alpha and if the devs can manage it maybe we can look forward to a Beta with more features and less bugs. I love this game, but H1Z1 looks way more promising.

Dont buy the game until Beta, and even then check the reviews again.
