I grew up with Borderlands and it saddens me that I will never, ever, play this franchise again.
I don't get why some game companies only goal is to mess with their players.

RIP Borderlands. RIP 2K and Gearbox.

As much as I'd like to recommend this game I cannot.
They tried to make a SWAT 4 with HQ graphics, but missed so many marks.

The pepper ball M4 platform has bugged attachments and hasn't been fixed in months.
The AI's only consistency is that it's broken. They're seeing players through walls and even shoots through these walls. Sometimes you can run around a corner and get shot at the exact tick the AI registers direct line of sight and simply die.

Achievements are not consistently unlocked when playing multiplayer.

They do not love this game. They just wanted the cashgrab.

This game runs like a bag of bricks.
There is no optimization to speak of, and this game has been my first ever experience with input-lag.

There really is no nicer way of putting this than: "Absolute garbage"

This pvp focused shooter combines the dangers of Dayz, the arcade gunplay of Counter Strike and the intensity of Escape from Tarkov.

All mashed together in an easy to pick up, hard to master package.
I love hunt.

What an experience.

I paid 99,99€ for the Ultimate Edition of this game.
That is how excited I was after the initial Beta release.

The game itself is in my opinion a piece of art, but sadly, I cannot take part of it because of a bug that I have reported on SEVRAL TIMES with video evidence.

Steam womt refund me becaue "Yo bro, you have 5 hours in the game".
Those 5 hours are me playing the first and 2nd mission sevral times in order to get footage for my bug report as well as trying to solve the bug (meaning I am forced into atleast 20 min of playtime each time I want to try something to fix the bug).

The studio also released a November update where they specifically said that this bug was solved, but alas, it was not.

As you can see, I have 72 minutes of "playtime" in this game.
Those 72 minutes are simply me sitting in the menu trying to figure out why the F the sound isn't working.
I can hear the intro with the shotgun and Rockstar logo, the rest of the "game" is just silence randomly interupted by an ear shattering buzz.

Before someone tries to pin the issue on me, I did in fact:
* Edit the output device in game
* Edit the output device in windows (both globally and for the RDR2 app)
* Check the volume mixer (The sound is at 100%.)
* Verify the integrity of the game cache
* Reinstall the game
* Reinstall Rockstar Launcher
* Reinstall Direct X
* Reinstall DOTnet
* Reinstall my audio drivers
* Reinstalled windows 10 (Yes, I was that desperate and it was time to get a clean slate anyway)
* Run the game in safe mode
* Run the game as administrator
* Run the game in compatibility mode for Windows 7
* Run Rockstar launcher as administrator
* Changed the output quality to CD quality

And after all that, I still can't get audio in this game.
It's a real F-NG SHAME.
The game is supposed to be great for those lucky enough to play it, but I don't F-NG recommend spending more than 72 minutes debugging a bought product.

I'll leave this review and get my refund.

Very indulging story with lots of plot twists.

I'd recommend stop reading too many reviews as you need as blank of a slate possible when going in to get the best experience!

This game is just pure Rouge-like fun action!
I've played it for some time with 1-2 friends and it does a great job at keeping you interested and wanting more. The items are pretty well balanced and there is a lot of looting being done - man, I love looting...

The free version (the one I play atm) has access to The Fighter and the Cleric classes which is enough, but supporting the developer with the Fellowship DLC will give you access to a few more classes that can aöter the game for you even more.

Feedback that I'd hope the developer to receive:

* The boss HP bar is bugged in a way where the HP never appears as full, I guess this could be a scaling error?

* The monsters are fun and endulging, but I'd think a little higher variance would increase the replayability of the game.

* The NPC that you speak to in order to change between Hard-Mode and Normal-Mode in game is bugged, so even if you choose Normal/Hard mode it sends you to the purchase page for the Fellowship. Not a huge deal as you can just rehost, but I believe it'd be an easy fix.


Overall a great game and definitely worth your time.
