Honestly, the gameplay is great and I really enjoy it more than any other battle royale which is why I have so many hours on it but ever since it was made free to play, almost every other game has people using hacks, both map hacks and aim snap hacks. And while they do get banned after getting reported, it does not stop them from creating new accounts and using hacks again, which is probably why it is at an all-time low on steam charts, so much so that they removed map selection on most servers besides Asia, which again is full of hackers. So unless this hacking issue is addressed, I believe more and more people will quit the game until there will be no one left but hackers fighting each other.

I have been looking for a game like this for quite some time now. I just regret not playing this sooner because it falls right in line with my preferences and is truly a marvelous game in all aspects, whether it is the stunning visual graphics, the very detailed cutscenes and movie-like storyline, the historic setting of the wild west, the combat and gameplay, the option to change camera mode to fit your playstyle whether it be first-person or third-person view or the immersion into the game and being able to actually notice the consequences of your decisions and activities. It is the true successor to my other two favorite game franchise, namely dark souls and witcher, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Definitely the game of the year and probably the best game released in the last few years in my opinion.

Amazing combat, amazing content, amazing graphics, amazing attention to detail. In other words, the perfect game. 200+ hours to finish the base game, yet to do DLCs and NG+. If this game had co-op, it would have been GOTC, not only GOTY, at least until now.

Worth it only if you buy it on sale. The first few days were fun, doing side missions and collecting stuff and the story missions and once I reached level 30, I started collecting all the pieces of the gear sets. But soon I had collected everything, played the same missions over a hundred times each, explored the dark zone and it felt like there was nothing more to do. With patch 1.6, there were a few changes that kept me interested for a week, but again, nothing more to do. You can go solo or with friends in a group of 2,3 or 4, which is fun, but you will run out of content very soon. Shame though, as this game had immense potential but after the Year 2 announcement, I would say that my hopes were crushed and I was done with this game. All in all, an amazing game in the beginning, but the lack of content and the indifference of the devs to keep this game alive ruined it for me. You can still enjoy it while it lasts though.
