This was an amazing game!

Being new to the Tomb Raider franchise, I didn't quite know what to expect; however, this game became quite addictive and an overall enjoyable experience.

The story was moderately good at best and the music deserves approval but what blew me away were the scenes and the settings in which Lara undertakes her adventures. The places, scenery and particular tombs were breathtaking and it really did feel as if i had just faltered into an ancient civilisation, long bereft of residents (or saturated with them in particular places)

I also really loved the way the game incorporated hidden relics (that are suitable to the settings) that were fun to find and also left you anticipating the next one. The other items to find such as the GPS caches are pointless but do take you to some locations in your search to find them that offer some stunning perspectives on the brilliant scenery.

The only irritations to this otherwise marvellous game is the repetition of the same old actions that you begin to feel at about 60% into the game , a predictable story that becomes apparent at about 50% into the game and finally the puzzles in the tombs that become ridiculously easier the further you progress.

But in conclusion, I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking for an experience full of escapade, adventure and mystery.
