Fallen Order: Keeping the franchise from falling
A Solid 9/10

This was a game I enjoyed immensely. And I know I enjoy something when 5 minutes after I have finished watching, reading or playing the content, I am already searching online for art that I can hang and use as wallpapers.

This game has gotten a fair amount of dislike and criticism from many critics for having underdeveloped characters and storyline, however, I don't necessarily see it that way. Yes, the story could have been longer, and I feel that would have both made the game more worthy of the steep cost and add more to the storyline. But at the end of the day, how much more do you want to add to a game before it just becomes a huge mess of lore? The great thing about Star Wars is the never-ending content. Whats to say we don't get a book or a second game, adding further to the thrilling story.

Overall, I really enjoyed this game. A few technical issues are surrounding the game, including a few performance issues where even on my system running a 5700XT and a 3600X with the game installed on an SSD I ran into a few stutters and occasional frame drops. More of these issues can be found online as well too with many experiencing similar issues. Not to mention the game can get pricey, depending on where and when you buy it. Because this is a single-player game, you won't run into issues where you can't get any good playtime out of the game in six months due to an empty player base. So if the price is crazy high like it usually is, I would recommend waiting until the price is lower.

However, with those issues aside, this is a game I would recommend to anyone interested in an adventure action games. Similar to the latest Tomb Raider trilogy, Jedi: Fallen Order, offer great cinematics, story, adventure, and above-average character development. The game sees characters overcome personal arcs, face their fears, challenge themselves and develop. The game interweaves itself well into the Star Wars universe timeline and portrays the Empire in a menacing fashion, making the story more entertaining, actually adding a challenge for the main protagonists to overcome; something in recent times with Disney's acquisition has been lacking.

I see this game as a testament for what Disney is potentially capable for in creating good Star Wars stories. Star Wars fans both old and young, novice and experienced, padawan and master will find something to like in this game.
